HI FROM YOUR LTG! Hi! My name is Karalee Kothe and I am your Lieutenant Governor (LTG) for Division 3. Division 3 is made up of the following schools - Kennedy HS, Littleton HS, Heritage HS, Pinnacle Charter HS, and East HS. I am here to support you in any way I can and help you stay connected to the Rocky Mountain District. I am a senior at Eaton High School and hope by the end of the year that one of you will want to replace me. Serving on the Board is a great leadership experience with cool students from across the state. I would also like to feature you and your club in one of my monthly newsletters. As of July 16, 2015, Project Eliminate has raised a total of $87,844,621.05, which is $378.70 member average. Although this is definitely an impressive number, it still falls short of the Kiwanis goal: $110.0 million. If we reach this goal, we will have successfully eliminated MNT from the face of the planet. This past year was a real emphasis on Project Eliminate, but we still need to move forward with the project even though it is not the only focus organization any more. Key Club and Kiwanis have already come so far and saved so many lives, why stop now?

If we reach this goal, we will have successfully eliminated MNT from the face of

the planet. This past year was a real emphasis on Project Eliminate, but we still need to move forward with the project even though it is not the only focus organization any more. Key Club and Kiwanis have already come so far and saved so many lives, why stop now?

PROJECT ELIMINATE CONTINUED

• • •

Rocky Mountain District ranks 33 out of the 54 total Key Club districts around the world. I think it would be awesome for us to move up a few ranks and show some Key Club pride in these Rocky Mountains! As a district, our total funds raised is $575,152, but I know we can do even better, so don’t give up on Project Eliminate just yet! We can make a huge difference for just a little money; less than two dollars can save a life. Helping others was never so easy, but still so fulfilling!

ROCKY MOUNTAIN DISTRICT’S MASCOT IS A JACKALOPE

• • •

All of the divisions are united under the mascot of the Rocky Mountain District: Jackie the Jackalope. Let this be an example for mascot ideas-it does not have to be an actual animal! :)

OUR DIVISION NEEDS A MASCOT!Some of the other divisions in the Rocky Mountain District have a mascot to unite their schools together. I think we definitely need a super amazing one for Division 3, but I need your help to make it happen. Email me any ideas to [email protected] and I will pick my top three favorites. Then, I will put them into a newsletter for you all to vote on! Let’s make this happen!
