Prayer is the very foundation of this global ministry to share the hope and grace of Jesus around the world.
TBN has always been about winning souls for the Kingdom and believing with you, our part-ner, for victory.
It was during a time of prayer that God planted the idea for this ministry in the hearts of Paul and Jan Crouch. They prayed fervently, gathered with friends and advisors, sought wisdom from the Father, and obediently stepped out in faith. And what was birthed in prayer has been sus-tained and grown through prayer.
TIMELESS INSPIRATIONIn 1975, a 77-year-old minister named Paul Billheimer published the book Destined for the
Throne. A few years later, Paul and Jan encoun-tered both the book and the man, and nothing would ever be the same.
They were instrumental in a 24-hour prayer initiative on TBN, which included several thousand participants ...
Soon after, Paul Billheimer and his wife, Jenny, became a part of the ministry of TBN. They were instrumental in a 24-hour prayer initiative on TBN, which included several thousand partici-pants, and taped a number of teaching series for broadcast on TBN. They modeled lives commit-ted to loving and obeying God and were affec-tionately known as “Mom and Dad” Billheimer.
Destined for the Throne reveals truths about the church, the Kingdom of God, and us as reigning companions with God’s Son.
They went to be with the Lord many years ago, but they left behind a legacy of love, ser-vice, grace, and prayer. In fact, this book by “Dad” Billheimer was so infl uential, it is still one of the primary sources of inspiration for the mission of TBN. Destined for the Throne reveals truths about the church, the Kingdom of God, and us as reigning companions with God’s Son.
In the years that followed, Paul and Jan con-sistently applied the secrets they discovered in “Dad’s” book and watched their dream of a Christian network become the largest platform in the world for delivering the Gospel.
Paul Crouch would later write: “Ever since Jan and I got a hold of Destined for the Throne, I can say, without reservation, it has changed and blessed our lives more than any other book we have ever read—next only to the Bible!” A gener-ation later, Matt and Laurie Crouch would have a similar experience with this amazing book.
Prayer is not begging God to do some-thing He doesn’t want to do. It is not an effort to make God willing to act. Prayer is enforcing Christ’s victory over Satan. It is carrying out, on earth, decisions already made in heaven concerning the affairs of men (Destined for the Throne, p. vi).

PRAYING FROM VICTORYAs “Dad” Billheimer taught us, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We are His hands and feet on the earth today. Through the fi n-ished work of Jesus, we are sons and daughters of Almighty God—royal children! Our identity is not in this world, but in Him!
As His partners and representatives on the earth, it is imperative that we stay connected to the Father, unceasingly, in prayer.
... [God] wants us to stay constantly connected with Him through prayer.
He is always listening, hearing our prayers. It can be easy to take for granted how powerful this privilege is. But it’s true: We can appeal to our Creator at any time. In fact, He wants us to stay
constantly connected with Him through prayer.How precious it is to know this of our Heav-
enly Father. He wants us to pray. And as we join together as a TBN family in unity of faith and purpose, we can do extraordinary things.
Together, as the church, we are joint heirs with Jesus, co-ruling and co-reigning with Him for eternity. We pray that through the TBN Fam-ily of Networks you will be reminded of your identity in Him. Because He has already won the victory, you are already victorious!

Spotlight on Caylan CrouchMy primary role at TBN might best be described as adminis-trative. Having been groomed in all aspects of television by both my grandfather and my dad, I’ve truly been mentored by the best as I prepare to help lead TBN’s global outreach.
Some years back I was blessed to attend the presti-gious LA Film School, where I learned production from top to bottom and graduated in the top of my class. But equally important has been the hands-on experience I’ve had over the years at TBN, as I’ve gone on to coordinate many large-scale productions in over 60 countries.
Because my main passion remains the business side of television, I regularly join my dad in TBN programming, distribu-tion, and international network a� airs both in the U.S. and around the world. Of course, everything I do is focused on helping TBN spread the message of hope and grace in Christ with a spirit of excellence—just like two generations before me have done so well!

CHRISTIAN HISTORY
64 A.D.
1899
1956
This month in 64 A.D., the Great Fire of Rome began. Emperor Nero blamed the Christians to divert attention from himself, resulting in severe persecution of Christians.
This month in 1899, the Christian Commercial Men’s Association of America was formed by three traveling businessmen. Later renamed the Gideons, they placed their first Bibles in a hotel nine years later.
This month in 1956, “In God We Trust” became the official motto of the United States after a unanimous vote, without debate, in both houses of Congress and a signature by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
DOWNDOWNSIT
MORE THAN 22 YEARS AGO, Joseph Prince received a jarring
word from God. Through the inner voice of the Spirit, he
heard, “Son, you are not preaching grace.” He was troubled
by the message, but ultimately realized he had indeed been
mixing law with grace in his teaching.
Since that day, Pastor Prince has boldly and unapologet-
ically preached the “Gospel of Grace.” One key truth in this
Good News message is that after Jesus’ complete and final
victory, our Redeemer took His seat on the throne in heaven.

Pastor Prince goes on to point out:
He has finished all the work on the cross on your
behalf … this means that you can stop depending
on your self-efforts to earn and qualify for God’s
blessings in your life. You can sit down with Jesus
at the Father’s right hand!
