NEWSMAKER SECTION KABANKALAN City, Negros Occidental. Close to 100 young

people came to our July 16 YX Monthly Celebration! This was practically organized by our

TEAM Kabankalan comprised of high school children from 4 different campuses. It is

amazing to see what happens when the work is delegated to passionate people. Thingsstarts to flow from Gods favor and for His Glory! We baptized 9 people the following day!

All will have to face things beyond our comfort zones.All have difficulties. But the question is how comesome people get through them winning while othersended up losing. How come others still have thestrength to face adversities while others give up?

Reasons why we are prone to stress:1. We become weary and stressed in life when we start

to entertain the thoughts that we are all alone infacing the challenges of life

2. Trying to win in life by our own self effort.READ Isaiah 40:27 - 41:1

3. Ignorance or have forgotten of who God is in ourlives. READ Isaiah 40

The Problem When We Allow Stress To Drain us:

a. We lose our s_______________ -- It hinders us togo on.

b. We lose our vision -- we focus to much on ourdiscouragement, than the things we have alreadyaccomplished through Christ.

c. We lose our c____________-- our motivation isgone, and there is an overwhelming feeling that wecould not finish the task.

d. We lose our s___________ -- we become fatalistic.We will adopt a whatever will be will be attitude.

How do we stay strong and refreshed in facinghardships? GO TO Isaiah 40

31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew theirstrength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they willrun and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
