Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, It is my honor to send you this personal invitation to our 102nd July 25-28, 2013 Workshop. It is also my earnest prayer that you are blessed and abounding in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the transformation of Christ (Matt 17:5) we find the Apostle Peter in a dilemma. Standing before him was the most important choice a human being is going to make in their lifetime. God is revealing to Peter (and us) the importance of making the right choice for our lives. God used two of the most important things that had meaning to an Old Testament Hebrew like Peter. NOTHING was more important to the life of a Hebrew than the Law and the Prophets. These two things represented who God was, and how God was going to communicate with His people. EVERYTHING hung on the Law and the Prophets. This truth cannot be overstated. Standing before Peter was Moses (the Law) and Elijah (the Prophets). Jesus was also being transformed into His rightful deity as the Son of God. Peter is quickly overwhelmed by what he is observing and starts to babble. As Peter continues to talk, a voice comes from heaven correcting Peter and concludes with this. There are many things in our lives that we consider very important; however God distinctly informs us that nothing is more important than listening to what His Son is saying to us. Is it any wonder why so little of real Christianity gets done in the church? Jesus runs into the same problem today that he did 2000 years ago. Those who were entrusted to hold fast The Word of Truth are the very ones who were the biggest violators of it. The Pharisees of old kept adding new law after new law until the things of God were forced into last place. Today we face this same devil and his wiles. The Pharisees of new have brought in and allowed the world and the flesh to supplant the Spirit of the Lord. Jesus has been replaced with the arm of flesh! So much so, it is darn near impossible to honestly demonstrate, “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Cor 3:17). There is so much bondage coming from the church, and so little freedom. All the denominations and most independent churches have bound themselves to false religion and the works of men’s hands. Scripture warns us in Prov 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” We have allowed ourselves to be bound by the evil one. We no longer know what to do with wrong thoughts, bad attitudes, lusts, anger and the prejudice that lives within? What about our gender, spousal or employee responsibilities? What about responsibility period! How about all that sorcery, occult and esoteric baloney we had/have going on. Let’s not forget about that killer pride that doesn’t hide itself as well as we think it does. What do we do with these real issues that get the best of us all too often? The only answer coming from the leadership of the church tells us to take a pill or we are directed to Dr. Do-Good’s latest book entitled, “It’s NOT your fault. It’s your environment!” God have mercy on us! If self-help was the ticket, we all would have dealt with these things years ago. Let’s get back to the Word of God and start exercising our faith in the Lord. When Jesus loosed the daughter of Abraham from her infirmity, he was letting us know that we too can loose ourselves and others from the things that bind us down. However, it must be done God’s way and not ours. I hope you will come and join us for our July Workshop. These things and others will be presented and applied correctly from the Word of God. God is NO respecter of persons. The main reason why Spiritual Warfare works for some and not for all is because not all are going about it as the Word of God tells us.
