21371 St. Theresa Lane, Ashburn, Virginia 20147 St. Theresa Catholic Church Dear Parishioners, I am pleased to announce that we will be working on a new pictorial direc- tory to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of Saint Theresa Parish. We have had a new directory every five years since 1996 -- so it is time to update again. So many families have joined us in the past five years -- and so many families have grown! Be sure to be a part of the directory -- you will receive a free directory and a free 8x10 portrait. Sittings will begin July 12th -- schedule your sitting by visiting the parish website at www.sainttheresaparish.com. Help us make the directory a success by including your family! We are also in need of volunteers, as a host, to check in the families at the time of their sitting. Each volunteer will be given a $50 credit towards any purchase they elect to make of family photos. If you would like to help, please contact Cathy Clark, [email protected] or 703.729.0439. Monday is Independence Day. Parish offices will be closed; Masses will be celebrated according to our regular schedule at 6:15 and 8:30am. July Fourth concludes the Fortnight for Freedom. My thanks to all who dedi- cated their time day and night to remain with our Blessed Lord in the Ado- ration Chapel. I would like to get the chapel up and running on a regular basis as soon as possible. I recognize that we will need many more ador- ers to make this a reality. Please pray about making a weekly commit- ment to our Lord of one hour. I guarantee that you will get so much more in return! Online registration for the chapel should be up and running in the next couple of weeks. I will let you know when that is official! May God bless you all! Calling All Men of the Parish to the Men’s Discipleship Group

•Only 26% of Catholic men consider themselves to be practicing Catholics. •83% of Catholic men rarely or never participate in a parish activity outside of the Mass. •70-90% of catechesis, charitable work, and Bible studies are led by women. If you’re comfortable with these statis-tics, then the St. Theresa Men’s Disci-pleship Group is not for you. However, if you’re a Catholic man who’s inter-ested in learning more about what it means to be a disciple of Christ and is looking to do so within the company of like-minded men in our parish, then give us a try. We meet at 5pm on Sun-day evenings in the parish meeting rooms. For more info, contact: Antho-ny Renzette, [email protected], or Matt Noah, [email protected].

[*Statistics taken from the Catholic Man-Crisis Factsheet.] Wednesday Morning Women’s Discipleship Group

You may sit anywhere in church and connect with the desig-nated WiFi. See the monthly CART Mass schedule on the St. Theresa website under ‘Mass Times’ and under ‘Homily Real-Time Translation Times.’ Contact Donna at [email protected] for more in-formation.
