CONTENTS

Hello.Just a few lines to wish you happy holidaysin our own way, i.e. presenting the articlespublished in this issue of Xylon Internatio-nal. Yes, of course, the summer break is dedi-cated to resting, relaxing, spending timewith friends and family, in the mountainsor at the seaside.

But if you should feel a bit of nostalgia, you can take your copy of Xylon Interna-tional and read it in peace.

What are you going to find in this issue? After the news that we want to submit toyour attention (we remind you that youcan visit our online channel www.xylon.itto find such news in real time), we havededicated pages for Drema (Poznan, Po-land, 6 to 9 October) and Wood Pro-cessing Machinery Technology-Inter-mob (Istanbul, Turkey, 10 to 14 October). Two opportunities to look at two marketsthat have given and are giving great sati-sfaction to the European woodworkingtechnology industry, always providing very“interesting” signals...

And then a lot of space to our “afterLigna” report, which is much richer thanin the past, so we had to fight with availablespace. As you will read, this was a good editionfor the biennial German exhibition. Satisfaction is tangible, with positive resultsduring the first days and for everyone. An awaited, important signal.Someone confessed they had expectedmore, but opinions inevitably change fromcompany to company, from area to area, from product to product.

And it is also inevitable that post-exhibitionreports might be richer or poorer, butresults − we repeat it − were significantand they seem to announce a morepositive season.

So, enjoy your reading.

We wish you a peaceful, corroboratingand funny summer break. See you in September, of course.

We have been wor-king in Poland forten years and made-in-Italy has broughtan added value, also in terms of men-tal attitude. If we should draw a list of exhibitions that havebrought satisfaction to Italian wood technologycompanies in recent years, Drema would definitelybe counted in. The event in Poland − Poznan, from 6 to 9 October 2015 − is the mirror of a lively, focused market, willing and ready to invest. The exhibition, supported by Eumabois, will host525 exhibitors over a surface of 23 thousandsquare meters in seven halls. According to forecasts, organizers are expectingmore than 20 thousand visitors, who will take acloser look at the portfolio of all global leadingmanufacturers.Needless to say, the Italian group will be numerousas usual, side by side with European manufacturerswho have always monitored this market − one ofthe most active in recent years − to look for newopportunities in an industry that has strongly ac-

celerated in the past twenty years. Poland is oneof the most dynamic markets in Europe: in2014, gross domestic product increased by 3.3percent, higher than the Eurozone growth rate. Pro capita Gdp exceeds 14 thousand dollar andseems to have significant growth margins (it iscurrently less than half of Italy’s). Inflation should rally in 2016, when prices will beback up by over one percent, according to Inter-national Monetary Fund estimates. The country also shows a dynamic trend in foreigntrade: both import and export increased in 2014,by 9 percent and 6 percent respectively. As to woodworking machinery, in 2014 Italy ex-ported to the Polish territory technology for a totalvalue of 85 million euro, achieving a 35 percentincrease. ■

WOOD PROCESSING MACHINERY AND INTERMOB: A PLATFORM FOR TURKEY AND EURASIATogether with Poland, Turkey is one of the mostpromising markets in recent times, with grossdomestic product growth rates constantly above3 percent and inflation at 8 percent, which indicatea strong and structural expansion process. On the international trade side, it should be addedthat, besides decreasing import, in 2014 there

was an increase of export flows by 5.5 percent.Coming closer to our industry, woodworking ma-chinery have become a mature business, with te-chnology demand in all segments. Just one figure: in 2014 Italy exported over 40million euro technology to Turkey, basically in linewith 2013.

So, an important marketplace, an entrance doorto Eurasia, with a major event scheduled next 10to 14 October, namely the 28th edition of WoodProcessing Machinery (woodworking technology)and the 18th Intermob (supplies and semifinishedmaterials), both at the Tuyap exhibition and con-gress center in Istanbul.

In 2014 there were 860 exhibiting companiesfrom approximately 30 countries, as directexhibitors or represented by their import channelpartners, who have always managed the flow oftechnology coming in from across the border. This figure, if we are not wrong, is a record. And another record was established with 60,046visitors (a bit more than 50 thousand in 2013),coming to Istanbul from 102 countries, as a resultof intensive promotion activity by the organizersin many foreign markets, as witnessed by 23 na-tional delegations invited by Tuyap.

As we are going to print, we still don't have officialfigures for the next edition, but the information wehave collected indicate that 2014 results will berepeated or even exceeded. ■

Turned off the spotlights on the German exhibition, attention is now focused on the five paintinglines, a big plant in Kuwait City signed by GiardinaFinishing and Maurimacchine.“The finishing plant that will be commissionedin the coming weeks is the biggest in Kuwaitand, most probably, in the entire Middle East!We are talking about five painting lines, some30 containers of machines and solutions shippedfrom the Giardina Finishing and Maurimacchinefactories to Kuwait City”. Giampiero Mauri, pre-sident of Giardina and Maurimacchine, commentedthe 2.5 million Euro order acquired by the twocompanies. Evidence that this collaboration cango far…Five lines have been installed: a sprayingline, specifically designed for shaped doors anddirect gloss finishing; a roller line, ideal to paintflat doors at high speed; a line to paint profile

(door profiles and frames) up to 300 millimeterwidth; a painting line for wood edges in coils upto 200 millimeter width, which are then cut andapplied to the four edges of doors to achieve thesame identical finishing and quality as surfaces. There is also a backup line, so as to guaranteethe maximum reliability and safety for the entireplant. The configuration includes loading and un-loading equipment, tilting systems, vertical ovens, roller conveyors, handling systems to maximizethe efficiency of the department. “The goal of ourcustomer – says Filippo Germanò, Sales AreaManager – is to produce more than one thousanddoors per eight-hour shift. The doors can bemade of solid wood, coated with veneer ormelamine paper, painted with solvent-basedlacquers and finished by polyurethane, Uv, poly-ester or water-based coatings”.

The doors have different shapes, destinations, design and dimensions (up to big gates with 2.5meter height and 1.2 meter width). The challenge was to design and build a groupof flexible, fast and reliable lines, to execute anyfinishing cycle on any material with no problem, giving customers the assurance of top quality.

GIARDINA AND MAURIMACCHINE IN KUWAIT CITY Hassan Habul Group, the customer, is one ofthe most active construction companies in thePersian Gulf: over 2,000 employees and tens ofbuilding sites, from skyscrapers to departmentstores, from luxury villas to shopping malls. Tomeet their commitments and ensure quality tothe smallest detail, this organization has decidedto set up factories to produce several constructionelements in-house, from glazing to ceramics, from bathroom fixtures to doors. The final decision was made after several testswith different conditions and coating products, which proved the effectiveness and versatility ofGiardina’s technology. Such rigor and carefulnessare essential if you consider the group’s productionvolumes, with a showroom comprised of fivefloors where hundreds of doors are exhibited inthousands of different finishes.

DEBUT: PRIMULTINIAND BONGIOANNI

For the first time,Primultini andBongioann iexhibited toge-ther at Ligna inHanover. Bignews for the pri-mary operation

industry, following the acquisition of the historicalbrand, part of Pezzolato SpA since 2001, by thegroup based in Marano Vicentino. So, primaryoperation professionals had the opportunity to“touch and see" the results of this partnership. “At the exhibition we have proposed technologyby Primultini and technology by Bongioanni”,says Lorenzo Primultini, group president. “Wewant to make it clear that a priority of our acqui-sition is the business continuity of Bongioanni, the preservation of their story and competence, while optimizing operations and leveraging allsynergies. Ligna has been an opportunity toprove my statements: this acquisition strengthensour leadership and now we can supply turnkeysawmill plants, developed with strong expertiseand experience in every processing stage forlogs (cutting, debarking, measuring, sorting, handling and orienting) and boards (cutting, trimming, sorting, stacking, strapping, packag-ing...). Together, Primultini, Bongioanni and Pribomake up a player with unparalleled excellenceand knowledge”. “Just three months since theagreement was signed, we are having verypositive feedback in terms of sales, both forPrimultini and for Bongioanni products”, saysGaetano De Lai, sales manager. “In severalmarkets – mainly Germany, France, Austria andCroatia – results confirm the effectiveness ofour project and the value of solutions that inte-grate the best of both companies”. Ligna wasthe “debutante ball” for Primultini and Bongioanni, meeting the big audience of the sawmill and pri-mary operation industry. It’s been a great oppor-tunity to present a lineup of products in a 200-square-meter stand, including a variable axiscarriage by Bongioanni, a shaping debarkingmachine by Pribo, a two-spindle multiple rip-saw model “MSA” by Primultini and a numer-ical control leveling machine for wood bandsaw blades type “Mecomat” (useful to restorethe perfect planarity and efficiency of saw blades)produced by Mec-Legno, another company be-longing to the “Primultini galaxy”.Another exhibitat Ligna was the tilted saw headrig by Primultiniwith 1600 millimeter flywheel diameter, equippedwith canter and variable axis carriage, equallytilted, designed by Bongioanni.

“THINK4WARD”: BIESSE AT LIGNA 2015“Think forward”, imagine the future and built itto achieve “Industry 4.0”, i.e. highly automatedindustry with software that can integrate alloperations.“Those who visited our stand at Ligna havecertainly noticed our motto”, said RaphaëlPrati, marketing and communications manager.“Think4ward” was the concept that animatedour team from the very beginning of the proj-ect. A big challenge for our group: we havealmost doubled our exhibition area from theprevious edition, deciding to display thelatest technology both for large industrialplants and for smaller companies, togetherwith a full portfolio of software. As our generalmanager Stefano Porcellini said, we achievedunprecedented results for an exhibition, with63 percent more orders than in 2013. We are

very proud and satisfied because we haveshown that, with our technology, software andautomation, we can really support the competi-tiveness of our customers in the age of thefourth industrial revolution”. The message was very clear, and maybe for thisreason, as underlined by the Pesaro-based group, visits at the Ligna stand increased by 20 percentcompared to the 2013 edition, with more visitorscoming especially from Germany, Eastern Europe,Northern Europe, Russia and the United States.A 3,700 square meter stand, about thirty machinesand cells, 120 square meters dedicated to thepresentation of software made in Biesse.“In this exhibition we wanted to give tangibleevidence of what we believe in and what wecan offer to contribute to the fourth industrialrevolution”, Prati said. “We want to be leading

actors with the big integrated plants we deliverto the world’s furniture giants, but also with au-tomation systems for small and medium wood-working companies, solutions that can multiplymachinery and plant performance and the offerflexibility in production to make custom productswith short lead time and profitably”.

Three new solutions were presented in this specificsegment: the single-side squaring-edgebandingmachine “Stream B MDS”, ideal for small batchesby virtue of its total flexibility; the flexible panelsaw “NextStep”, basically a double router forperfect squaring that aroused great attention atthe fair, “..a solution that did not exist and thatsets new productivity standards, also for the te-chnological solutions we have identified”, Pratiobserved.

Last but not least, “Insider M”, a boring machinethat can process all panel faced in one pass, handling panels of different size with no interrup-tions. Great attention for the latest creation byViet, the robot-driven sanding machine “OperaR” (“R” stands for robot) which replaces abrasivebelts with a sanding arm, clearly a technology in-spired to numerical control machining centers. At Ligna, Biesse officially presented “bProcess”,the brand new line supervisor that promises ex-cellent performance.

One machine that caught the eye at Ligna wasthe “Hps 320 flexTec”, a world first from Holzma. It completely redefines the cutting process and,in particular, the parts flow in customized pro-duction. What's so special about the new cuttingcell for single panels? At the heart of the saw isan industrial robot that takes over the task of han-dling parts and strips during the cutting process. It is highly flexible, fully automatic and significantlymore efficient than many conventional solutions. The robot also impresses with its extremely highlevel of availability. Overall, the cutting cell savesa great deal of energy, material and time comparedto conventional solutions. The most important be-nefits at a glance: unlimited recuts for highlyefficient batch size 1 production; significantlyhigher utilization of materials and maximumflexibility in cutting pattern layout; automaticlabeling of components; automatic handling ofoffcuts; fully automatic rip cuts and cross cutswith one saw; ideal for trade and industry with upto 1500 parts per shift. Holzma also presentedthe “Hpp 130”, a new panel saw that makes iteasier than ever for aspiring trade enterprises toenter the world of precision production. The inno-vative compact saw comes equipped with every-thing that customers need for cutting single panelsand small series. . The 2 series from Holzma haslong been synonymous with precision and highperformance in a compact space. The “Hpp200” is the new basic model in this performanceclass and an innovation that is setting new stan-dards in terms of flexibility and upgrade options.“CombiTec” from Holzma provides a special re-cutting option for batch size 1 production. Thisinnovation enables recuts to be performed im-mediately during the cutting process. This savestime and money. As of Ligna 2015, it is also avai-lable for the single saws (Hpp/Hpl) in the 3 and 4series. The redesigned 5 series from Holzma seta new standard for superior panel saws at Ligna.Whether “Hpp”, “Hpl” or “Hkl”, these top-of-the-range models have long impressed in series pro-duction with their stability, precision and perfor-mance. The new models go one step further, de-livering impressive design innovations in the ex-traction system and a significant increase in theease of maintenance and service.

GIANCARLO FANTACCI

Giancarlo Fantacci, founder of G3 in Poggibonsi,a well-known tool manufacturer, was taken awayby an aggressive disease. Born in 1940, Fantaccispent his life among tools as long as he could:though seriously affected by his disease, he didnot miss any opportunity to go to work, with thedetermination, passion and love for work that isshared by many people who have made thehistory of our industry. And even in the last fewweeks, when he needed someone to help himmove, he still went to his company, just to breathe"the smell of the workshop", as he loved to say.Giancarlo Fantacci started his own business verysoon. Several years later, in 1995, he created G3,an important decision, as Giancarlo gathered allhis family around him: his children Gianluca andGloriana accepted the challenge, supporting theirfather in the new adventure.“For him, the company was the natural extensionof the family”, says daughter Gloriana. “All ofus, myself, my brother and mum, stood by hisside. He was a real entrepreneur, who lovedchallenges and could not even imagine not towin all of them! This approach drove him to up-date, to be always up to customer expectationsand in line with market needs and trends”.

LIDIA RAMBELLI BENUZZIOn 12 May2015, LidiaRambelli Be-nuzzi passedaway at 91.She was oneof the few wo-men who pla-yed a leadingrole in the wo-o d w o r k i n gmachinery industry. Born in Bologna, in 1947 sheand her husband, who had married one year be-fore, founded “Gino Benuzzi snc”, a mechanicalcompany that soon specialized in woodworkingmachinery, earning the appreciation of local, thenregional, national and international customers. The Sixties were a turning point, with the rise ofparticleboard and the search of solutions for this"new" material, first of all to cut it. And so, GinoBenuzzi – a curious and capable man, sensitiveto industry developments – invented the panelsaw we still use today, with pressure bar and mo-ving blade. So, Giben Impianti spa was establi-shed, with Benuzzi as the key driver, supportedby his wife Lidia, who stayed by his side day afterday, untiringly. She was in charge for management, accounting and sales, she did not skip one singleexhibition, she often went on business travel withhis husband... She was known to everyone forher skills and strength, for her determination toput the company in the first place, above everythingelse. In 2009, president Ambrogio Delachi (withher in the picture) awarded her as “Benemeritadi Acimall” (meritorious), with the following ex-planation: “A woman of strong character in anindustry dominated by men, she has contributedto the decisions that have allowed her familybusiness to understand that specialization is anecessary and successful strategy. Such aware-ness has driven the transition from the productionof general-purpose woodworking machines tothe creation of a globally renowned brand inthe panel cutting business”.

EXCELLENT RESULTSFOR WEINIG GROUP

Ligna 2015 was a success for Weinig. Duringfive days, the stand of the German company re-ceived a constant flow of visitors, and what’smost, several orders were signed: as many as190 for solid wood technology, up by 21 percentcompared to the previous edition of the biennialGerman exhibition, Weinig subsidiary Holz-Herwas also successful: the panel specialist recordeda 5 percent increase in order inflow, selling some75 machines in Hanover.Such results rewarded the group’s commitmentto the event: a stand measuring almost 4,500square meters, a big machine lineup, thousandsof visitors from 91 countries.“In a generally good investment climate, wewere able to impress with our innovations”,commented Ceo Wolfgang Pöschl with sati-sfaction. In the press conference at Ligna, Pöschlreaffirmed that the group is experiencing a positiveperiod, indicating that the 2014 fiscal year closedwith 6.3 percent growth and that the trend in2015, at least at the beginning of the year, hasbeen surprising, largely above expectations.

TECHNOLOGY LINEUPIn the Xylon International May/June issue, wepreviewed Weinig’s new products presented atLigna. We will now take a look at Holz-Her, the fa-mous panel processing brand part of the Weinigfamily. For edgebanding, Holz-Her presented aseries of high-performance solutions also perfectlysuitable for handicraft and small-medium busi-nesses.The “Lumina” series offers a unique com-bination for processing panels, two systems forperfectly invisible joints: the “GluJet” glue appli-cation system for standard use of Pur glue andthe “Ltronic”, a new laser edging unit that canprocess all current co-extruded and subsequentlycoated edging using a newly developed NIR mo-dule (Near Infrared Radiation). As our readersknow, this is the new frontier, or one of the newfrontiers, of edgebanding. It is a “third option”,besides laser and hot air - to achieve comparableresults using a source with lower operating costs.Switching from one technology to another, fromone aggregate to another, takes little time (fiveminutes), with a simple and clean process, thanksto a “Hsk” connection coming from numericalcontrol technology, which allows to recognize theinstalled gluing unit immediately. The “LTronic” starts immediately, requires nostartup or heating or compressed air, and makesno noise: just push a button and it’s done. Thebeam generated by the unit is very similar to alaser diode in terms of intensity, with lower energyconsumption and optimized operation, as it avoidsenergy waste.

SALVADORTHE NEW LOGO PRESENTED AT LIGNA

What better opportunity than the world's mostimportant exhibition to show Salvador's consistentapproach to their identity, their story and theirfuture vision, represented by a new logo? Lignahosted the debut of the new corporate image ofthe Veneto-based company: a big “S” split intotwo sections by a well-visible cut (Salvador’s mis-sion), that recalls the morphology, the ductilityand the texture of wood, and at the same timethe first letter of the company name, and otherkeywords like “success”, “strength” and "sapere”,the Italian equivalent of know-how. The name, Salvador, remains in the forefront: itcould not be otherwise for a family-owned companywith deep roots and a rich technical and culturalheritage. And there is also an explicit referenceto the industry, with the words “woodworking ma-chinery” coming right after a proud “tricolore”,the colors of the national banner that remind of"made in Italy" and the history of the company, established back in 1982.

LIGNA FOR HOMAG GROUP

The German group made their best, exhibitingtens of machines and large plants to show their“lively” innovation capacity.

Homag Group looked really fit and sound. Itreally looks like the Duerr acquisition by theGerman giant (that's what it is) had a positive im-pact, as clearly stated by Ceo Ralph Heuwingwho mentioned the transaction that added 915million euro revenues by Homag Group in 2014to almost 2.5 billion by Duerr Group. The mergerinto the automotive giant will generate synergiesworth tens of million euros as a result of the inte-gration of some processes, procurement, financialand technological management.Homag Group exceeded their own limits to provethey are up to the challenge, achieving excellentresults in fiscal year 2014, with orders up by 9percent (from 734 million euro in 2013 to 803 in2014), sales up by 16 percent (from 789 to 915million), Ebidta up by an excellent 23 percent(from 76 to 93 million euro), with a significant in-crease of margins by more than 3 percent (from

18 to 19 million). The situation looksgood also in 2015, though we haveto consider that the Stile acquisitionis driving all parameters upwards:according to figures given by Heu-wing, in the first four months of thisyear orders reached 287 million ver-sus 260 in the same period in 2014(plus 11 percent), sales amountedto 254 million (plus 24 percent versus205 last year), Ebitda improved by51 percent (from 15.0 to 22.6 million)

and profits by 66 percent (4.1 from 2.5 million). If everything goes as it should, 2015 should closewith an order value close to 960 million euro, sales between 950 and 970 million, Ebitda veryclose to 100 million euro and net profits somewherebetween 31 and 33 million. Nothing to say...

Juergen Koeppel, board member and sales, service and marketing manager, is in charge tokeep a close eye on the market: “The globalwoodworking technology business is worth ap-proximately 3 billion euro”, Koeppel said. “We have a 29.8 percent market share (it was28 percent in 2011), with 1.4 percent growth in2014 alone”.Koeppel then underlined that the best ordertrend was recorded in Asia/Pacifico (from 20percent of total group orders in 2013 to 24 percentin 2014), in North America (from 9 to 12 percent)and from Central Europe (from 22 to 24 percent).Decreasing shares in Western Europe (from 19 to18 percent), Eastern Europe (from 26 to 20percent) and South America (from 4 to 2 per-cent).

Koeppel highlighted the new opportunities thatthe acquisition of the historical importer/resellerof the German group Stile will bring in NorthAmerica, with even more positive outlook for newplant developments, machine sales and a newstronger organization to consolidate the leadershipon that big market.

ACIMALL

INTERNATIONAL SCENARIO OF WOODWORKING TECHNOLOGYWe are back to the question that periodicallycomes out in the agenda of the Studies Office ofAcimall, the Italian woodworking machinery andtools manufacturers' association. The question isvery important: what is happening in the woodand wood-based materials processing industryworldwide? Who are the major competitors andwhat’s their export trend? To update the situation− thus having a clear view of the trends of globaltechnology markets in our industry − Acimallanalysts have processed the latest availablefigures, as usual, drawing a detailed map ofmajor “global flows” in the January-December2014 timeframe.

The first evidence is that last year, as shown inthe table below, five top competitors − Germany,Italy, China, Taiwan and Austria in decreasingorder − recorded a positive trend. Only the United States closed 2014 with a ne-gative result, minus 0.7 percent, which howevershould be considered a sign of substantial stabilityand stronger attention to the domestic market, which in the past two years was the liveliest on aglobal scale. The first place in the ranking ofglobal exporters is still held by Germany, a lea-dership that can be hardly challenged. Germanyclosed the year with much better results thancould be expected after the first six months of theyear: after plus 0.44 percent in the January-Juneperiod, a much stronger 2.3 percent increaseover 2013 was achieved in the second half, withan export value close to 1.8 billion euro.

Italy remains the runner-up, proving its capacitynot only to face all the global markets, but also tooffer high-level technology in all application do-mains. Made-in-Italy export amounted to 1,169.8million euro, which means a final result of plus 5.3percent compared to 2013. Unfortunately, the an-nual growth rate was not in line with the more po-sitive 7 percent result achieved in the first half of2014, which means that Italian export in thesecond half was less “lively”.

The third place by value was taken by China, with 964 million euro export and 22 percentgrowth over 2013. These are actually estimates,as economic data from this country are not alwaysconsistent and comparable. Notice that that thingswent better for Chinese technology in the secondhalf than in the first one. In the January-June period, export amounted to376 million euro, 13.6 percent more than in thefirst six months of 2013.When we presented our six-month report, wepointed out that the growth rate of Chinese exportwas virtually twice bigger than Italy’s, and nowthe proportion has changed further to 4:1 (plus22 percent for China, plus 2.3 percent for Italy). In absolute value, the gap has shrunk to just 200million euro approximately (1,169 versus 964 mil-lion). However, “made in Italy” can be satisfiedwith an export growth rate in 2014 that wasdouble than its German competitors.

Taiwan, at number four in the ranking with 517million euro, recorded a satisfactory 13.5 percentgrowth compared to 2013 export; place numberfive went to Austria, close to 400 million (plus11.9 percent from the previous year). The last position in the ranking was taken by theUnited States, with an export value of 281.7million euro, as the only competitor that lost sharesfrom 2013, as already mentioned.

More generally, it can be stated that the healthconditions of wood and wood-based materialsprocessing are not arousing worries on a globallevel, with widespread export expansion that −despite all caution − suggests a constant growthof global demand.

About import United States are the world’s big-gest market: in 2014 they purchased woodworkingtechnology from abroad for a total value justbelow one billion euro (987.6 million), up by 18.1percent from 2013. The runner-up has not changed either: despitethe well-known economic and political troubles,Russia closed 2014 at plus 4.5 percent, withimport worth 554.3 million euro.Germany remains the third biggest "consumercountry" (401.3 million, plus 5.8 percent), followedby China (331.6 million euro), with imports downby 6.2 percent from 2013. Slight decrease (minus 0.14 percent) also forCanada, which bought fo reign technology for249.7 million euro. France is growing (247 million,

plus 9.1 percent) and Belarus even more, scoringan amazing 143.2 percent growth with a totalvalue slightly below 221 million euro.In decreasing order of value, the ranking continueswith the United Kingdom, Poland, Austria, Malaysia,Turkey, Switzerland and − at number fourteen −Italy, with 126.3 million euro import, i.e. 13.2percent less than in 2013. The vast majoritycomes from Germany and China, with the formeraddressing the medium-high end of the Italianmarket, and the latter focused on "facilities", equip-ment with low-tech content. ■
