We know it can be a challenge to ensure your kids stay entertained throughout the holidays. The YMCA is here to help by keeping your kids busy with a range of experiences for children of different ages, genders and cultural backgrounds. From day trips around the city to arts and crafts projects, from sports competitions and outdoor games to week long holiday camps, we’ve got you covered! Our day programmes operate from 10 locations around the Greater Wellington Region. Holiday Camps run all week long from the picturesque Camp Kaitoke and offers your child a chance to experience independence, self reliance and the opportunity to make great friends.

You Choose Days $30 All You Choose Days are $30 irrespective of the price next to the activity costs above. Parents should make their choice for You Choose Day when registering on the registration form or online.

2 New Venues
We have two new venues opening these School Holidays; Plimmerton School & St Andrews on the Terrace
Ngati Toa Domain
We no longer operate out of the Ngati Toa Domian Hall for the School Holiday Programme or as our Porirua
office space. We are in the process of relocating the office to Porirua City. When confirmed, details will be
posted on our website. Options will also be available for getting WINZ forms signed off etc in Porirua. Please
check our website for details over the next couple of weeks. If at all possible you should register online.
Change of HP Coordinator
We farewell Fiona McCaskill from the role of Porirua HP Coordinator. Fiona is moving from our OSCAR team to
our Youth Education team and has been a great servant of the Holiday Programmes since Porirua City Council
days. Replacing Fiona in Porirua & Wellington is Kayla Tattley who also runs our YMCA After School Care
Centres throughout the region. Kayla’s details can be found on the inside cover of this booklet.
