When Disaster Strikes, Keep The Children In Your Care Safe. Sign Up Today! Maximum Of 30 Participants Per Session.

Childcare professionals carry the tremendous responsibility of caring for children in the most unpredictable and vulnerable situations—emergencies. Child Care Solutions is proud to bring you “Save the Children’s Child Care Emergency Preparedness Training.”

Each day in the U.S. more than 17.5 million children are cared for outside the home and 90 percent live in an area at risk of natural disasters. But disaster can strike anywhere at any time, including the many hours children are separated from their families and in childcare settings. Child Care Solutions is proud to bring you “Save the Children’s Child Care Emergency Preparedness Training.” to ensure that all child care workers are equipped with skills and resources needed to protect chil-dren and provide for their unique needs when disasters strike.

This training is designed to help child care providers develop and implement robust emergency plans that cater to the spe-cific needs of their program. Written by Save the Children’s nationally recognized emergency experts, the course teaches participants best practices in evacuation, relocation and family re-unification. The curriculum also provides guidance for prac-tical applications to improve overall emergency protocol.

SAVE THE CHILDREN’S CHILD CARE EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS TRAINING

The Child Development Associate® (CDA) is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education (ECE) and is a key stepping stone on the path of career advancement in ECE. The CDA credential is based on a core set of competency standards, which guide early child care professionals as they work toward becom-ing qualified teachers of young children.

Becoming a CDA is a big commitment, but one that creates confident practitioners with command of to-day’s best practices for teaching young children.

We can help you earn your CDA in 2 ways. You can take our CDA class or if you already have your coursework done we offer field advisement to help you with the completion process.

Are you ready to explore your potential, discover your talents, transform your life...start your college journey? If so, you should consider beginning your college career with Child Care Solutions. ONLINE TRAINING Join Us For A Family Child Care

Roundtable

The NYS Office of Children & Family Services recently announced that proposed Family Child Care regula-tions will be released at the end of June. Join us for a group discussion on the proposed regula-tory changes. Providers who attend will have an opportunity to brainstorm the feedback they would like to give OCFS regard-ing the proposed changes. Child Care Solutions will then submit the group’s comments to OCFS. We hope that this will make input easier for providers who may not have time to compose written com-ments on their own.

You can download and print the regulations ahead of time if you’d like to preview them before the meeting. If you can’t get to a printer, call us and we will arrange for you to pick up a copy at one of our offices or at the Roundtable meeting you attend.
