Promotors of cycling events must secure a sanction for su ch events from their State Representative who in turn ill assist in the officia ting of the race providing officials and s eeing that the bicycle racing rules are ob served Aside from the supervision of cyclis ts activi ty in compe tition the principal function of t he Le agu e is t he n lOn i ng of the National Championship These tournaments ar made pos sible t hrough t he generosity of the Bicycl e Industry who through their trade orga niz a t i on th n Bicycle Institute of ~~erica subsidize the traveling expense s of Sta te Champions to the city where the Nationals a re held as lell as providing hotel and food expense hile in the Championship city In addition the League nameS the members of the USOC 1ho arrange Olympic and Pan Am=rican cycling trials and qualify cycl ist s for the se quadrennial events State Championships for this year ar e June 25 196 7 at the Beltsville SpeedHay and the National Championships August 10 through 13 at Portland Oregon Registration Forms available at the HcLean Bicycle Center 68 29 Elm Street McLean Virginia 22101 Phone - Area Code 703 356 -5936

Promotors of cycling events must secure a sanction for su ch events from their State Representative who in turn ill assist in the officia ting of the race providing officials and s eeing that the bicycle racing rules are ob served Aside from the supervision of cyclis ts activi ty in compe tition the principal function of t he Le agu e is t he n lOn i ng of the National Championship These tournaments ar made pos sible t hrough t he generosity of the Bicycl e Industry who through their trade orga niz a t i on th n Bicycle Institute of ~~erica subsidize the traveling expense s of Sta te Champions to the city where the Nationals a re held as lell as providing hotel and food expense hile in the Championship city In addition the League nameS the members of the USOC 1ho arrange Olympic and Pan Am=rican cycling trials and qualify cycl ist s for the se quadrennial events State Championships for this year ar e June 25 196 7 at the Beltsville SpeedHay and the National Championships August 10 through 13 at Portland Oregon Registration Forms available at the HcLean Bicycle Center 68 29 Elm Street McLean Virginia 22101 Phone - Area Code 703 356 -5936

Promotors of cycling events must secure a sanction for su ch events from their State Representative who in turn ill assist in the officia ting of the race providing officials and s eeing that the bicycle racing rules are ob served Aside from the supervision of cyclis ts activi ty in compe tition the principal function of t he Le agu e is t he n lOn i ng of the National Championship These tournaments ar made pos sible t hrough t he generosity of the Bicycl e Industry who through their trade orga niz a t i on th n Bicycle Institute of ~~erica subsidize the traveling expense s of Sta te Champions to the city where the Nationals a re held as lell as providing hotel and food expense hile in the Championship city In addition the League nameS the members of the USOC 1ho arrange Olympic and Pan Am=rican cycling trials and qualify cycl ist s for the se quadrennial events State Championships for this year ar e June 25 196 7 at the Beltsville SpeedHay and the National Championships August 10 through 13 at Portland Oregon Registration Forms available at the HcLean Bicycle Center 68 29 Elm Street McLean Virginia 22101 Phone - Area Code 703 356 -5936
