Carmel-by-the-Sea: Officer received a report of a tree limbdown on top of a car on Lincoln Street. Upon arrival, observeda tree limb that had broken from a tree and was resting on a vehi-cle. Additionally, the limb had taken down a phone line. Thevehicle only had scratches to the top from several small limbsresting against it. Forestry was called, and the limb was takenaway.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: CPD responded to a report of a motorvehicle striking and damaging a parked vehicle in a parking lot.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Report of jack hammering in process.Upon arrival, saw that some individuals had begun to jack ham-mer some asphalt from the front of a driveway. The owner of theproperty was contacted, and she stated that she could not get hernew car down the driveway. There was a water meter so shethought the water company would take care of it. She wasreferred to the city and to the water company. The owner neverreceived permission form anyone to begin work on the road. Thework was stopped and she was told to go to the planing depart-ment for approval.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Woman reported that she was druggedand possibly raped.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Subsequent to a traffic stop, the pas-senger in a vehicle was found to have an outstanding misde-meanor warrant. He was arrested and later lodged at county jail.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambulance arrived onscene to find a male experiencing extreme difficulty breathing.
Pacific Grove: Coyote sighting in the area of Forest andSinex. Also seen in the area of 17 Mile Drive and Bayview,heading toward the golf course.
Pacific Grove: Anonymous report of a male and femalearguing outside an apartment complex on Forest Avenue. Femalecontacted and advised the argument was regarding a remark shemade to her boyfriend of eight months which angered him.Boyfriend began yelling and left the apartment on foot.Girlfriend also left the apartment on foot. Female advised argu-ment did not become physical, and neither had been drinking.Male was later contacted and related the same.
Pacific Grove: Officers were dispatched to a battery involv-ing several parties on Arkwright. Upon arrival, an intoxicatedmale, bleeding from the head, and his two intoxicated brotherswere contacted. The victim refused to file charges. He was trans-ported to CHOMP for his injuries.
Pacific Grove: Monterey Fire Department reported a suspi-cious fire to the garage of a residence on Laurel Avenue.
Carmel area: Female driver stopped for vehicle code viola-tions. Female displayed objective signs of being under the influ-ence of alcohol. She was arrested for DUI.
Carmel area: Woman reported she left two rings in her hotelroom. Rings were found and mailed to her.

Pacific Grove: Woman reported he received a “scam” letterin U.S. Mail that requested she cash a check and send funds topay for applicable winning charges. She wanted this matter doc-umented.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Driver was stopped on Rio Road at2232 hours for a moving violation and found to be DUI. Driver,a 51-year-old male, submitted to a breath test and was lodged atcounty jail.

Pacific Grove: A 26-year-old male suspect turned himself inafter running from officers after a traffic stop on the night ofMay 16. He admitted to fleeing from officers because he was“scared” due to his possession of “weed.” He was later trans-ported to Monterey County Jail.
Pacific Grove: Transient male entered a Forest Avenue busi-ness to obtain donated clothing. When leaving, he took a boxcontaining satellite dish components. When the male was con-tacted shortly after, he did not have any of the stolen items in hispossession. Due to low monetary value, victim did not wish topursue charges. Male given trespass admonishment andreleased.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Hotel owner on Junipero reported twoclerks stealing money from him over a two-month period oftime.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Between May 19 at 2245 hours andMay 20 at 0830 hours, a burglary reportedly occurred at arestaurant on Ocean Avenue. The suspect(s) entered through aback window and stole cash from the register.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambulance dispatchedto a residence on Monte Verde Street for a female in her 40s witha half-inch laceration to the left thumb. Crew bandaged theinjury and patient signed a medical release, electing to go tourgent care by POV.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: A man asked for advice about mer-chandise provided to an Ocean Avenue business but which thebusiness had not paid for and apparently was not going to beable to pay for. The man was provided with information relatedto a civil standby while he collected the merchandise.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Report of 647.6(a) PC [annoying ormolesting a victim under the age of 18].
Carmel-by-the-Sea: A citizen reported an incident of aloose dog running into her leg and going after her small dogs.No injuries were sustained. She requested contact of the offend-ing dog owner for education about the loose-dog ordinance.
Pacific Grove: A 61-year-old female driver was contactedduring a traffic enforcement stop. Driver was found to be intox-icated and was arrested. Driver was booked at PGPD andreleased after posting bail.
Carmel Valley: Two male students at Carmel Middle Schoollit a tree on fire on school property.
Carmel Valley: Three students at Carmel Middle Schoolwere found in possession of knives on campus. One student alsomade threats against another student. One was arrested; twowere cited.
Carmel area: Sometime between April 26 at 0800 hours andMay 19 at 1900 hours, unknown person(s) threw a rock at thefront window of a private residence.
Carmel Valley: A Carmel Valley resident reported seeing anunknown person in her home on Berwick Drive and also saidsome of her jewelry had been stolen.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: CPD units were dispatched to a peacedisturbance on San Carlos Street and placed a 16-year-old juve-nile subject on a 5150 W&I hold. Subject was transported toCHOMP via ambulance.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Traffic accident on Lincoln Streetresulted in injury.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Two dogs were reported loose in theresidential area on Junipero Street and later captured and lodgedat CPD’s kennels. The dogs were later released to their owner.
Pacific Grove: PGPD officers were dispatched to a structurefire on Ocean View Boulevard. Roads were closed, and peoplenearby the structure fire were asked to evacuate the area. Thefire department was able to put the fire out, and it was deter-mined to be arson.
Pacific Grove: Son smashed father’s car window during anargument. No criminal prosecution sought.
Pacific Grove: Lawton Avenue reported a man in plainclothes driving a white pickup truck with a camper shell sayinghe works for PG&E and was to install smart meters and wantedto look inside his home at his heater. Resident described the per-son as a male adult age 50 to 60 with a strong jawline wearing ahardhat with an antenna coming from the top. The person waspersistent on entering the residence but wasn’t allowed in. Noadditional information was available.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: A 49-year-old female was arrested on
Sixth Avenue for public intoxication. She was later booked intocounty jail for public intoxication and a probation violation.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine dispatched to a residenceon Santa Fe for an electrical wiring/equipment problem.Downed TV cable at the edge of the roadway. Crew secured andflagged the cable to an adjacent telephone pole.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance dispatched to an Oleadaresidence for a male with a lump on his chest and diffuseabdominal pain. Patient transported Code 2 to CHOMP.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance dispatched to CarmelCenter Place for a male who experienced a fainting episode.Patient transported Code 2 to CHOMP.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance dispatched for a report of adiver missing at Scenic and 15th. While on scene, diver emergedin no distress.
Pacific Grove: A violation of a restraining order occurredbetween a 23-year-old male and the protected person’s boss. Thesuspect contacted the boss by telephone, and a third-party com-munication was attempted. The suspect was contacted at his res-idence, arrested, booked at PGPD and lodged at MCJ.
Pacific Grove: Male shoved domestic partner during anargument. No injury; no criminal prosecution sought.
Pacific Grove: Resident came to the station to drop off whatshe believed to be a homemade smoking implement that wasfound in the side yard of her property. The possible parapherna-lia was enclosed in a damp cloth in a plastic bag. The propertywas taken for destruction.
Carmel area: A found wallet was turned in to the sheriff’soffice by CPD.
Carmel area: A mother had not heard from or seen heradult daughter for about two weeks; therefore, she reported hermissing. Mother said the daughter had a substance abuse prob-lem and was concerned for her safety.
Carmel Valley: At Esquiline Road at De los Helechos, dur-ing a traffic stop, a juvenile was found in possession of tobaccoproducts, a smoking pipe, a digital scale, rolling papers, agrinder, less than an ounce of marijuana and a spring-loadedknife with a blade longer than 2 inches. He was cited andreleased into the custody of his parent.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Mission Street resident reported ongo-ing suspicious circumstances involving the possibility of peopleentering her home when she was gone. Today she stated whenshe returned, she smelled the odor of marijuana in her entry way.She advised no signs of forced entry. She also added that itappeared more miles were added to her vehicle when she had itparked. Information only.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambulance dispatchedto Viscaino for a female in her 80s with difficulty breathing.Patient transported to CHOMP by ambulance.

Big Sur: Carmel ambulance dispatched to Highway 1 atRocky Creek for a suicide attempt. Man was spotted in the creek200 feet below the bridge, moving. He had multi-systems trau-ma and was packaged, extricated and handed off to Cal Star 5.Patient flown to Santa Clara Regional Medical Center by heli-copter.
