Kim Dao Ly Award for Volunteerism (5 Awards)
Criteria:
Donating time, energy and talents for the benefit of other interns
Shows willingness to assist beyond normal expectations
Display qualities of enthusiasm and willingness to participate in
improving the functioning of internship
Assist in day to day activities

Nominations with brief recommendation by Staff and members of ACRM
Final decision according to consensus by panel of judges

Eligibility:
All interns are eligible
Voting Panel:
All interns are to vote (except for themselves)
All ACRM Staff/Fellows/Mentors can vote
Interns’ vote contribute 30% and staff/fellows/mentors
votes contribute 50% of the final score. 5% will be alotted to intern's adherence to policy. 15% will be assigned to performance in the bench research and scientific writing projects.
Voting Process:
Voting is done via Survey Monkey or Google Docs by interns and mentors. A ranking system is employed to select candidates for

Eligibility:
Council members who have been electedand represent their interns successfullyare eligible
Mentors Choice Award for Scientific Writing (5 Awards)
Criteria:
Nominations by all writing mentors
Criteria will include the following:
- What amount of effort was put into the writing project?
- What are the chances of ultimately succeeding and getting
published?
- Completeness of the outline
- How much of the actual Manuscript has been completed (e.g.
first draft)?
- How did the intern interact with his/her mentor?
- Did the intern communicate regularly with their primary/
support intern and mentor.

Each Mentor nominates an Intern from their Scientific Writing
group
Mentors Choice Award for Bench Research (4 Awards)
Criteria:
Accuracy and reliability of techniques performed
Completion of data, compiling of worksheet
Intellectual curiosity
Leadership and responsibility - logistics and efficiency in
conducting the research
Communication
Teamwork and collaboration
Total contribution towards the bench project
Eligibility:
All interns working on bench research projects
One award for each bench research group consisting of 4 to 5
interns

Each Mentor nominates an Intern from their Bench Research group
