A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL JORDAN ENGLE

I pray that your summer vacation to-date has been relaxing and fulfilling. Summer is such a great opportunity to reconnect with family. Families are building blocks of the church and our school. What a blessing it is to work with such amazing families that together form this family of Central Catholic!   On that note, it is important to keep our families aware of the accomplishments and challenges of Central Catholic. This year was a year unlike any other in the history of our school. In the face of great adversity, we accomplished so much. Together, we were able to keep our school open and functioning as normal for the overwhelming majority of the school year. Our staff made great strides in instruction and our administrative team has worked tirelessly to improve the classroom and curricular offerings of Central Catholic. The hard work and dedication of our students paid off with a great multitude of honors including the NSAA Cup, over $3.3 million dollars of scholarship rewards for our graduating class, and a 2nd semester Honor Roll comprised of 76% of our students. More importantly, our students found new and innovative ways to develop a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ in our school this year, and I am beyond proud of them.   Central Catholic is perfectly imperfect. We will perpetually have opportunities for growth. As part of the Crusader family, I value the input you have in improving our school. I would like to personally thank all of the families that took part in our April/May parent survey. Using this feedback, staff feedback, and student feedback, we have developed a one-year strategic plan we have code named “Best Year Ever.” In this plan, we are focusing on the four core areas:

Instruction Communication Logistics Finance/Facilities

We have set and will achieve tangible benchmarks to improve all of these areas based on feedback from all involved. I can’t wait to share more about this plan with our Crusader family, and I am excited to engage and utilize help from our parents, students, and staff to achieve the goals of Central Catholic!   On the horizon is a parent meeting at the beginning of the next school year. I will be offering at least 2 dates for parents to come and hear about the changes involved in our strategic planning for the upcoming school year. This meeting is of extreme importance, and I implore parents to prioritize attending one of these meetings to understand the goals of our school in the upcoming year! Without your involvement, we will not be as successful as we can be!   I am always praying for our Crusader family!
