Your Dias officers were in attendance and legislation was voted on. There was quite a bit of legislation this year so too much to list here. Highlights: The per capita increase was voted down. Lodges are now permitted to sell raffle tickets etc. in conjunction with fund raisers. Lodges are now permitted to rent out there areas to private organizations. Alcohol may now be served at Lodge Picnics, if not on Lodge Property. I will read all the legislation at the next meeting (on June11th). The budget was passed. We will be doing an EA degree the last meeting in June (the 25 ) at 7:00 p.m. We have 1 candidate, plus 1 courtesy th candidate.. Brother Richard Coles, JW will be Degree Master. We have welcomed 11 new members in so far this year. The lodge picnic will be held on Sunday, Aug. 11, at Coquina Beach. We have rented a pavilion on the Gulf Side as we have the past few years. We will be serving Hamburgers, Brats, and all the trimmings. This is a family picnic, so please plan on attending. The hours of our rental are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Come on out and support your Lodge. Bring your family, have some great food and enjoy the day at the beach. As we have a pavilion, this will happen rain or shine. We invite all members of Lodges in our district to also attend, but request that you let us know if you plan to attend. NOTE: Coquina Beach prohibits the consuming of alcohol on their premises. The lodge will be dark for the months of July and August. Our regular tiled meetings will resume in Sept at our regular scheduled meeting on Sept 10 . Any business that needs to be th done will be handled by our Secretary, Treasurer, and Worshipful Master during our darkness. There will be no Trestle board for July and August.
