The Wednesday morning (10 a.m.) and evening (7 p.m.) Our Bible Study
groups continue our study of the Old Testament books, Ezra and Nehemiah
and it's never too late to join us! Even if you can't be there every week, you
are welcome to join in on the pleasure of digging deep into God's Word! To

Put aside your busy schedules, turn off the TV, and come join us for a pleasant
evening of fun, fellowship, and of course, food! Our monthly Game Nite is on Friday,
June 17th starting at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Center. Just bring your favorite game,
your own cold drinks, and a snack to share. All ages welcomed!
PASTOR'S SABBATH DAY
The Pastoral Relations Ministry Team is working hard with Pastor Lin to keep her physically, mentally and spiritually healthy, so she is best able to minister with us. Therefore, we think it is important for her to take a day of rest each week. In order for Pastor Lin and Andy to have a day together, based on his work
schedule, she has established Tuesdays as her day off. Of course she is avail-able if there is an emergency, but otherwise, please hold routine emails, texts and phone calls so that our pastor can get a day of rest. Thank you!

Thank you for filling your empty baby bottles with your spare change, dollar bills, and/or checks! We will collect the bottles all month with the deadline of the final Sunday of June. Your money will go to support the work of Pregnancy Ministries for the unborn and young families.

Franklin Graham has been going to all the state capitals to hold prayer rallies. The rallies usually at-tract tens of thousands of believers. They pray for our state and national leaders and encourage Christians to become more involved in the political process. He will be in Harrisburg on Thursday, September 15. Salem will be organizing a bus from Waynesboro. It will probably leave around 9:00 a.m. And return by
3:00 p.m. For those who can't make this event, he will also be in Annapo-lis October 11. Contact Greg Scandlen for details.

This month we celebrate our annual Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Join us on Sunday, June 5th, for a special time of prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. We will also take a "slap" offering that day, with the proceeds going to Voice of the Martyrs, to be used to purchase Bibles for the Persecuted Church.

Project Big Love 2016 is quickly approaching. This annual event is an amazing all day outreach to families in need in our area. Last year's event provided area chil-dren with 1,165 pairs of new shoes, 1,195 backpacks filled with school supplies, and 276 haircuts! Families also received a total of 10,500 bags of groceries. Most importantly, every child heard the good news of God's love for them, and 37 re-ceived Jesus Christ as their Savior during the event. Salem Church has been a sponsor of Project Big Love since it started several years ago, and we sent a spe-cial offering of $537 to them in April. This year Project Big Love will be on Saturday
July 30th at the Mont Alto Carnival Grounds. Volunteers are needed to work in the various distribution and service tents, in the snack/lunch area, in prayer, or in the children's play area. If you would like to volunteer at this year's event or make a financial donation, please visit their website (www.projectbiglove.org) or mail your donations to Project Big Love 2016, 206 Madison Ave, Waynesboro PA 17268.

SAVE THESE DATES
Photos for the new Salem Church Directory will be taken on Tuesday,
July 26th and Wednesday, July 27th from 2:00 to 9:00. We will have sign
up tables available after both services on Sunday July 3rd, July 10th, and
July 17th for each family to choose the best time for them to have their
photos taken. It will take approximately 1 hour. There is NO CHARGE for the photos.
Each family will receive a FREE 8 x 10 and a FREE church directory. If you choose to purchase
additional photos that will be up to you. A purchase is NOT required. In the next several weeks
you will be receiving information packets on the whole photo process. You will also receive an
information sheet to confirm the information that will be printed in the directory. You will be
asked to confirm its accuracy and make any changes that you wish to make. You are not required
to give out addresses, phone numbers, or emails if you do not want to. I ask that once you confirm
your information that you initial it and return it to me as soon as possible. We want to have the
directory portion of this project done before the photos are taken. Every-
thing must be turned in two days after the photos are completed. If you
