Over the years they have created a culture imbued with the Benedicne values of hospitality and prayerfulness. St. Benedict writes in his Rule that all who come to our doors are to be received as Christ himself. Prayer has always been center of the life of monks and nuns, so it no surprise that great aenon and care go into the celebraon of our liturgies in our parishes. My experience in both parishes is that we celebrate these values of hospitality and prayerfulness well. To celebrate the Feast of St. Benedict in Avon, you are invited to pray Evening Prayer at the Church on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 PM. This will be a great way to ask Gods blessing on our parish as celebrate our parish fesval the next day. Together we go to God. Pax, Fr. Celebrating our Parish Patron Saints

Feast of St. Benedict, July 11 Both parishes have a long history of being staffed by Benedictine monks and sisters. Prayer has always been center of the life of monks and nuns, so it no surprise that great attention and care go into the celebration of our liturgies in our parishes. My experience in both parishes is that we celebrate these values of hospitality and prayerfulness well. To celebrate the Feast of St. Benedict in Avon, you are invited to pray Evening Prayer at the Church on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 PM. Funeral Groups We are asking all parishioners to please update your phone number with your funeral group. Many phone numbers have changed and our database has not been updated for the past couple years. If you have discon-nected your landline and are just using a cell phone, please let us know the cell phone number where you can be reached. Contact the office via Email: [email protected], or Phone: 320-250-5618, to update your number. Also, please make sure you have paid your funeral dues if you were not able to bring in cakes or help in the kitchen for your funeral group for the past 1-2 years.

Hospitality After Mass We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with serving hospitality after masses. There is no need to make or bake anything! The time commitment is low, but it makes a big difference. Contact the office to help.
