To this altar we are bringing all the scattered bits and pieces. To this altar we are bringing all the strife that never ceases.
To this altar we are bringing all the joy and all the gladness. To this altar we are bringing all the hurt and all the madness.
To this altar we are bringing
all the work along the journey. To this altar we are bringing days of dreams and nights of yearning.
God of grace and God of glory, see our tears and hear our story. From this altar let us rise, knowing once again we are your very own.
We are your very own. God of grace and God of glory, see our tears and hear our story. From this altar let us rise, knowing once again we are your very own.

CENTENNIAL PRAYER OF
ST. ANTHONY ON THE LAKE PARISH
Gracious and loving God,
we your children humbly ask your blessing upon us
as we celebrate the 100th anniversary
of the founding of St. Anthony on the Lake Parish.
Through the years, you have shaped us into a community
where we have responded to the call to
LIVE the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
SEEK the lost,
COMMIT to worship and life-long formation,
and to SERVE others in need.
We offer you praise and thanks
for the many who came before us,
who by word and example,
have inspired us with their faith, love, and charity,
to seek the lost,
and to bring all people into your family, the Church.
Rooted in your Holy Spirit,
may we face our future
with the same faith, hope, and vision
of those who have preceded us,
and may we dedicate ourselves
to remaining a thriving community
that is GRATEFUL, GENEROUS, and GROWING.
We make this prayer
through the intercession of St. Anthony of Padua,
our patron, and in the name of the One who is the same
Yesterday, Today, and Forever –
Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
