CELEBRATE RECOVERY MINISTRY

CELEBRATE RECOVERY Meets Every Tuesday Night from 7:00–9:00 PMIf you are dealing with hurts, habits and hang-ups join us this Tuesday.Adults meet in the Worship Center.THE LANDING is for students in 6th–12th grade and meets in Kids Worship. This ministry helps teens deal with the daily pressures of life by equipping them with tools to deal with those pressures. CELEBRATION STATION for K-5th graders, is a complementary children’s resource toCelebrate Recovery that meets in Room 416. While adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids discover the same truths in age-appropriate ways! It has everything you need to lead kids as they make Jesus the enduring, rock-solid foundation of their lives. LIFE ISSUES for Parents, Grandparents, and Guardians is a new small group being led by a Christian Psychologist in Room 508. The purpose of this group is to deal with life issues that families are facing with children, teenagers, young adults, and grandchildren.

ALZHEIMER/DEMENTIA CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP

Join us for support, education and resources at our Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregivers’ Support Group on Wednesday, April 19 at 1:30 PM in the Bride’s Room. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

GRIEFSHARE - Grief Recovery Support Group

GriefShare is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. It is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offercomfort and encouragement during this difficult time. Each class is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. Class meets on either Wednesday night at 6:15 in Room 508 or Thursday mornings at 9:00 in the Bride’s Room.

PRESCHOOL MINISTRY

Our Preschool Ministry would like to thank those individuals who have answered the call ~ Daniel and Jenni Lynn Cardwell, and Paulette Jones.We still need 13 teachers at 9:45 and 16 teachers at 11:00 Bible Fellowship hours. Other positions are also available. Contact Darlene Drivon at [email protected] or 892-2149 for ways that you can be involved in this very rewarding ministry.

MATH TUTORING

Tutoring for high school or college algebra and trigonometry is offered on Wednesday nights at 6:15 in Room 304 by appointment only. Help with resume building is now being offered. Other disciplines are available by request. Contact Sonny Warren 985-542-6884 to schedule.

SINGLE ADULT MINISTRY

Friday, April 21- Amanda Shaw at the Trailhead. Bring your folding chair and join us at the Trailhead for free music and fellowshp. Meet at 6:00 PM - show starts at 6:30 . Parents participating in this service are required to attend two Dedication Classes. A class can be taken at any time as long as it is before Dedication. There is no class between the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Services. ADULTS 55+ MINISTRY

CELEBRATION SINGERS CHOIR provides adults 55+ the opportunity for a meaningfulministry through music. Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays at 9:00 AM in the Choir Room. No experience is necessary, and the choir is open to all who love to sing. YOUNG AT HEART is open to all adults 55+ in our church and community. It provides a monthly program of inspiration, information or entertainment and a fellowship luncheon. It’s a great time to make new friends, enjoy fellowship and great food. Trips-n-Travel is a special part of Young at Heart and it is a great way for Adults 55+ to see the country and let someone else do the driving.
