Vancouver has it all! You can enjoy sandy beaches right in the city, mountains close to downtown, trendy stores and restaurants on Robson Street, large shopping malls, beautiful Stanley Park and nature everywhere.
University of British Columbia (UBC)
The University of British Columbia, or UBC as it is known, is one of the best universities not only in Canada, but in the World. The London- based Times Higher Education has ranked UBC as the 30th best university in the world. Other organizations also rate UBC as being in top rankings of world universities.
Located 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver by car, UBC is a city within a city, with trails and beaches, galleries and museums, a golf course, gardens and even restaurants - all without ever leaving campus.
Totem Park Residence is a mixture of single and twin rooms, with approximately 32 guests per floor. Guests share hallway washrooms with male and female washrooms located on alternate floors. Housekeeping service is available. Buildings offer a social lounge with TV, fridge, sink and microwave on every floor and they are equipped with elevators.
UBC Campus is approximately 10 kilometers from downtown Vancouver.
Travel time from the Vancouver International Airport is approximately 30 minutes.
UBC Campus is about a 30-minute by public transportation bus to downtown Vancouver.
