What’s your favorite part of summer?

From cookouts, to warm nights, fresh fruit

(hello peach season), and glowing skin, I

LOVE this time of year. I even went camping

for the first time!!

Now that the heat wave is here to stay, it’s

important to take to time to chill out

(literally and figuratively), connect with your

community, and enjoy this time of year

before it’s gone! Have some fun, babe! It's

time to reap the benefits of all the hard

work you invested over the winter, saw

bloom in the spring, and can now enjoy all

summer long! I’ll stop with the cheesy

metaphors, but you know what I mean --

part of being a boss babe is taking the time

to step back, really look at all of the hard

work you’ve invested into yourself, your

family, or your community and making sure

to enjoy it.

In this month’s box, I’ve curated a set of

summer essentials to meet all of your needs

-- whether you’re staying close to home,

jetting off on a new summer adventure, or

spending all your time on the beach, I’ve

handpicked my favorite skincare, beauty,

and more to make you feel fresh, glowing,

and oh so gorgeous all month long.

Classic Lemonade

Make your own Simple Syrup, by placing the sugar and water into a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely and remove from the heat. Chill in the fridge until you’re ready to serve!

Juice the Lemons (4-6 large lemons should yield one cup of juice)

Combine the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup in a large pitcher, and add 2-3 cups of ice cold water and taste.

Chill for 40 minutes, garnish each glass with a sprig of washed mint leaves, and serve!

P R E P A R E I T :

1 cup lemon juice (4-6 large squeezed lemons) 2-3 cups cool water Simple syrup (1 cup water and 1 cup sugar)Mint leaves (for garnish)

* You can make your own simple syrup ahead of time, & chill it before adding it to the lemons and water!

Peach Lemonade4 cups of cool water 2 cups of coarsely chopped fresh peaches ¾ cup sugar Mint leaves and peach slices (for garnish)

Want to make a peachy twist on classic lemonade? Simply add this peach mixture to the classic lemonade recipe above, and enjoy!

P R E P A R E I T :

Combine all ingredients (minus garnish) in a medium saucepan over medium high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and allow the mixture to simmer for three minutes.

Place mixture into a blender; let stand for 20 minutes to cool. Remove the center piece from the lid of the blender and allow steam to escape, then secure the lid back on the blender. Place a clean towel over the opening of the blender lid, and blend until smooth.

Pour the blended mixture into a large bowl, and chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Once cooled, press the peach mixture through a sieve over a large mixing bowl. Toss the solids, and stir the peach liquid into the Classic Lemonade Recipe (on the left)!

Garnish each glass with one peach wedge and a sprig of mint! Enjoy!

Y’all know I love a good hair mask! This Argan

To create a mod winged cat eye look, I like to start by lining my top lid. Place a tiny dot on your lid where you want the tip of your wing to be. (Do this on each eye, and make sure they’re even) Draw a line connecting the dot to the outer corner of your eye, then draw another line connecting the dot to the middle of your upper lash line. If necessary, fill in the outline you have made with short, even strokes. Use a Q-Tip dipped in moisturizer to clean up any mistakes, and finish with a couple coats of mascara. Va va voom!

If there’s one part of my beauty routine that I’m obsessive about, it's maintaining my brows! Seri-

ously y’all, I could be headed out on a camping trip and I’d pack my Tarte Arch Architect Brow Pencil

Gel in my back pocket! This 2-in-1 universal eyebrow shaper is the only product you need to shape,

define and enhance your natural brows. To show you how amazing this is, I used one of our cute team

members (a little behind the scenes for you) to give you a tutorial on how to create your BEST brow.

Step 1 Fluff

Start out with clean brows. I like to

take a clean spoolie brush and brush

my brows smooth with short, even,

slightly-upward strokes. This will fluff

up your brows, show you where any

sparse spots are, and give you that

youthful Brooke Shields brow!

Step 2 Shape

To easily shape your brows for a natural, soft

look, take your Arch Architect brow pencil

and gently fill in and extend the natural lines

of your brows. The key to keeping filled-in

brows looking as natural as possible is to not

overly fill in the inside corners of your brows

or make the end points too harsh!

Step 3 FillNow that you have the shape of your brows

defined, it’s time to fill in! Using short dash-like

strokes to mimic your natural hairs, gently fill in

any sparse areas with the angled-tip brow pencil.

Step 5 SetNow that your brow masterpiece is

complete, set your look using the

clear gel topcoat! This gel will hold

your hairs in place, while adding

dimension and a healthy shine.

Voila!Voila!See how perfectly defined brows frame your entire face and bring out your

I love July! What's better than apple pie, burgers hot off the grill, and fireworks? A communi-ty to share it with!! This year, I’m celebrating by putting together a list of ways to

#BlessItForward in your own community! Here’s ten super easy ways to give back!

Get involved in a community garden! If

there’s not one in your area, start your own!

If you don’t have a green thumb, buy your

produce at a farmer’s market and

support your local farmers!

Do you see something you want

changed in your hometown? Write

letters to the editor of your local

newspaper. Whether or not they get

published, they can still change minds!

Think about a social issue that you’re

passionate about, and pursue it! This could

be anything from school lunches to

homelessness to speed limits in your

neighborhood - whatever inspires you!

Vote with your dollars! Support

companies that are socially

responsible, and when you can,

support local mom-n-pop businesses!

Visit a museum, state or national park,

or cultural center. Is there somewhere in

your city you love to visit? Share it with

your friends and family, and help make

sure that spot is around for generations

subscription or donate if you can!

Volunteer somewhere that benefits your

community - a food bank, a church, a

homeless shelter or a library!

Adopt a highway, park bench or body of

water in your city! It’s a great way to help

fund projects in the community that

you care about!

Learn another language! Learning

another language will expand your

horizons, and will open the door to new

friendships and new experiences. Plus

- you can order your macarons or steak

frites in French! How cool!

10.Get to know your neighbors. In our

phone-obsessed world, we sometimes

forget to look up and talk to the

people right in front of us! Our community

starts with those right around us,

so start hand-shaking!
