This team also offers general maintenance duties - such as minor home/yard work and heavy lifting. Other Announcements On-Going Events SUNDAY MORNING: Bible Classes at 9:15a.m. with Worship Service to follow - we offer classes for all ages. Donuts and coffee are provided in the kitchen before and after class. We also have headsets for Spanish translations during Worship Service. CHILDRENS BIBLE HOUR: Bible Hour for young children is located in the large classroom next to the kitchen. An announcement will be made to dismiss the children to the classroom. SUNDAY EVENING SMALL GROUP STUDY: Please see the insert for our In the WordSunday Evening/Afternoon Bible Study locations. Group leaders are available for more information. LADIESTUESDAY BIBLE STUDY: The current study is on Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver; every Tuesday morning from 10-11:30am. MENS WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER: Wednesdays at 7:30a.m., the men meet at the church building for prayer and then go out for breakfast. TWO WEDNESDAY EVENING CLASSES: The Early Bird Class is at 6:00pm; while the Traditional Class continues to meet at 7:00p.m. Both classes will have the same lessons. SKY VALLEY WORSHIP & BIBLE STUDY: 4pm starts the combined Worship Service/In The Word Bible Study for the DHS/Sky Valley areas. Gentlemen, start your engines!!! This weekend, January 26 th and 27 th is the annual Mens Seminar to be held here, at the building, on Friday and Saturday. We start at 6:00 Friday night with dinner. Brother Jefferson Walling is the guest speaker. Jeff has spoken for us several times before. He always does a masterful job. The theme for the weekend is Unity.With whom are we united? How can we be united if we dont converse? How can we converse if we dont see one another? Perhaps it would be a good idea to invite friends from other churches to join us. Bring a friend, but let an elder know so that they can plan on the need for food. 1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy com- plete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Y siempre dispuestos: heme aquí Señor, estoy presto a tu servicio. Déjame compartir contigo esta historia: Saulo de Tarso estaba furioso y amenaza- ba con matar a todos los seguidores del Señor Jesús. Por eso fue a pedirle al jefe de los sacer- dotes unas cartas con un permiso especial. Quería ir a la ciudad de Damasco y sacar de las sinagogas a todos los que siguieran las enseñanzas de Jesús, para llevarlos presos a la cárcel de Jerusalén. Ya estaba Saulo por llegar a Damasco cuando, de pronto, desde el cielo lo rodeó un gran resplandor, como de un rayo. Hechos 9:5 Como saber la voluntad De Dios, existen dos mágicas preguntas que quizás todos deberíamos de aprender y estas son: ¿quién eres Señor?, y una vez que sabemos de El ¿dime que quieres que yo haga?. Y siempre dispuestos: heme aquí Señor, estoy presto a tu servicio. Déjame compartir contigo esta historia: Saulo de Tarso estaba furioso y amenaza-ba con matar a todos los seguidores del Señor Jesús. Por eso fue a pedirle al jefe de los sacer-dotes unas cartas con un permiso especial.
