Kids On The Rock (KOTR): Parents, the last 3 numbers on your child's check-in tag will appear on the black box to the right of the main

stage screen if your child needs you. !!Preschool: Key Question: Who gives you good friends? Memory Verse: “Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do.” Ecclesiastes 4:9 NlrV Bible Story: David praises God. 2 Samuel 6:5, 6:14 !K-5th: Today is Field Day so K-5th kids will be outside. There will be no K-5th classes on May 29~Memorial Day Weekend.

Classes will resume on Sunday, June 5 at both services. One service with Preschool and K-5th available each week begins June 12! !

High School and Student Ministry has concluded for the summer and will resume in the fall. !Young Adult Ministry: Mondays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

Small Groups: If you are interested in joining a small group, please stop by the Info Table to sign up so that Amy Anderson can get you connected. Our small groups this year are based on a sermon series in the Book of Luke. We are using a study guide from New Testament scholar N.T. Wright.

Summer Volunteer Recruitment: Summer is coming! River Rock is looking to fill volunteer roles over the summer months in areas such as Kids on the Rock, Hospitality and Care & Support. Could you serve one or two times during the summer months? Grab a volunteer recruitment card today (on a seat near you) or from the Info Table. You can sign up for the Summer KOTR program TODAY at the table in the lobby as well. Please contact Lisa Nyenhuis or Chris Mulder with questions for KOTR. See back cover for contact information. !North Kent Pastors Square Off Fundraiser: Pastor Jon is the opening act for North Kent Pastors Square Off. Jon and Darrin (Blythefield CRC) are writing a song (hilarious, we're sure) and performing it to kick off the event. The Hollywood Squares game features other pastors answering questions, but is not a competition among the pastors. Guests in the audience have the opportunity to be contestants. The event takes place at 6pm, Wednesday, November. 2 at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. To sponsor a table at this event ($750), stop by the Info Table for details. !The prayer team is looking for a couple (husband/wife or two individuals) to join us, to be available for prayer ministry once every two/three months during the second service. If this is a ministry close to your heart, contact Brigitte Nelson @ 883-6111. !Power Point Technician needed once a month, 3rd Sunday, 2nd Service. Please contact Cameron Warne.

Facility Update: The Facility Task Force invites you to attend a "Town Hall" meeting today after each worship service in room 131 (Band Room) to update the congregation on progress made on the recommendations from the Feasibility Study last fall. There will be an invitation to ask questions of the Task Force as well. Team World Vision: River Rock is partnering with Team World Vision to support clean water projects in Africa and YOU can help by running, walking or crawling the Grand Rapids Half or Full Marathon (Oct. 23rd)! Community and Family Matters !Please lift up Jim and Kathy Izenbaard and their family in prayer. Jim’s son Eric passed away Saturday, May 14, after battling lymphoma. Pray for peace and comfort after an extremely difficult time of loss. !Please keep Janice and Eric Peterson in your prayers with the recent passing of her mother, Anna DeVries Baar. !Continue to pray for God's comfort, energy, and healing for Lisa Bade as she continues fighting breast cancer. Pray for her husband Kyle, children Callum and Stella, and other family members as they support her. You can keep up with her story by going to CaringBridge.org. !Please continue to pray for Rick Brill, who has kidney failure. He’s been cleared for a transplant and will begin dialysis next week. Please pray it goes smoothly, and also keep his family in your prayers.
