Kalinowski-McCormick vows said in WashingtonBrandie Michelle McCormick of Washington, D.C. and Paul Kalinowski of

Arlington, Va. were united in marriage on Saturday, Nov. 16 in a 2 p.m. ceremony in St. Peter’s Church in Washington, D.C.

The bride is the daughter of Perry and Phyllis McCormick of Whiteville. She graduated from Whiteville High School, earned a bachelor’s degree at UNC Cha-pel Hill and an MBA at George Washington University. She is a consultant with FMP Inc. in Alexandria, Va.

The groom is the son of Antoni and Teresa Kalinowski of Lawrenceville, N.J. He graduated from Lawrence High School and earned a bachelor’s degree at Drew University and an MBA at George Washington University. He is a manage-ment analyst with the U.S. Department of Health Services in Washington, D.C.

They are residing in Alexandria, Va., following a wedding trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Father Patrick Riffle performed the double ring ceremony. Kevin O’Brien and Sara Suchy of Washington, D.C. provided music.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an all-over beaded and lace trumpet gown in ivory with plunging V-back and chapel train.

Bonnie Churchwell of Washington, D.C., friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karey Haywood of Washington, D.C. and Jan Ward of Burbank, Calif., friends of the bride, and Marta Chojnacka of Poznan, Poland, sister of the groom. They wore one-shoulder black satin short dresses.

Magda Chojnacka of Poznan, Poland, niece of the groom, was flower girl. She wore a white chiffon below-the-knee dress with empire bodice and bow sash.

Maciej Chojnacka of Poznan, Poland, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Sigal of Arlington, Va., and Robert Wakeman of Baltimore, Md., friends of the groom, and Brian McCormick of Scotch Plains, N.J., twin brother of the bride.

The bride’s mother wore a two-piece chiffon and lace knee-length dress in mocha. The groom’s mother wore a two-piece knee-length dress in navy.

The bride’s parents hosted a reception at The Phoenix Park Hotel in Wash-ington, D.C.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at La Bergerie in Old Town Alexandria, Va.
