Greetings Kalāheo Community!
Hope you all enjoyed the Open House and the opportunity to meet our incredible
teachers and enjoy our beautiful campus. Thank you to all the parents and staff that
participated in our Open House dinner. It would not have been possible without the
talent and support of our dedicated cafeteria staff. Mahalo Al Kahana, Tina and
staff.
We now have over 100 families and staff who have joined the PTSA this year.
Thank you to those who have signed up! Mahalo nui to those who made generous
monetary donations.
If you haven’t joined the Kalāheo PTSA—please fill out the membership form on the
website (kalaheohigh.org) and send to Kalaheo’s office with your student. We need
you! There are 930 students attending Kalāheo and much to be done.
The PTSA had the pleasure of hosting a welcome lunch for our Japanese Otake ex-
change school on August 19th. It was an American southern-style picnic served by
our parents. Thank you to everyone who made our exchange school feel Kalāheo’s
aloha spirit.
Please make a point to designate Kalāheo PTSA for eScrip rewards from Safeway.
It is our primary source of revenue and supports many of our programs throughout
the year.
Spend an hour of your time and join us for our first PTSA meeting on Tuesday, Sep-
tember 9, 2014 at 5:30 pm in the teachers’ lounge of H Bldg.
Mark your calendar to attend our biggest community improvement event of the year:
“Make A Difference Day”: October 25, 2014 from 8 am to 11:30 am.
Lastly, please like us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/KalaheoPTSA.
