Basil and Samantha, marooned on Bear Island and frightened by strange noises in the night, overcome their fears of imagi- nary monsters and make a new friend. This engaging production features large, col- orful puppets, bold graphics, and dramatic sound effects that keep the interest level high. Puppet show is funded by MRAC and Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. This is the 18th in the series. First the body of Max Fraser is found in icy lake waters, caught in the fish line and drowned. It is assumed it was an accident, even though he had an angry ex-wife and assorted enemies.
