Salient Designs Plastics: Kawasaki Mule 3000/3010 - 4000/4010 Top Installation Instructions: SD601 Installation Instructions: SD647 Place the hard top onto the Mule roll cage with the 2 overhead light indents facing the front of the vehicle. Using the 4 metal “U” Clamps align each clamp with the pre-punched holes in the top and attach each clamp around the roll bar using the supplied hard- ware. The approximate time to accomplish this in- stallation is about 15 minuets. Optional Dome Light Kit Instructions (SD647): 1) Locate the 2 dimples in the center of the top (these are on the interior of the top!) Drill these 2 holes using a 1/4” drill bit. 2) Once drilled place the dome light pod at the drilled location and bolt the pod to the top with the wires facing rearward of the top. 3) Once secured route the wires across the top to the rear cross section roll bar and route the wires towards the drivers side of the roll cage, route these wires down the bar to the under seat area of the vehicle near the battery. 4) Locate the vinyl round boot that has the 4 male/ female bullet connectors, these are typically to the left of the battery location strapped to the main vertical wire harness. 5) Once located plug the dome light harness red male into 1 of the female receptacles and repeat with the black wire to the female receptacle. 6) Test the dome light, it should only operate while the ignition key is in the on/run position!
