4 For anchors installed in the “T” joint or head joint reduce tension values by 20%.

5 Values for edge distances between 4 inches and 12 inches and between 12 inches and 16 inches can be calculated by linear interpolation.

Kwik Bolt II Length Identification System

Kwik Bolt II (Stud Version) Installation Instructions

Hilti Tamper Proof Nut (HTN) Installation Instructions

1. Hammer drill a hole the same nominaldiameter as the Hilti Kwik Bolt II, withor without the fixture in place—theKwik Bolt II works in a “bottomless”hole.

2. Clean hole with blow out bulb. 3. Drive the Hilti Kwik Bolt II far enoughinto the hole so that at least sixthreads are below the top surface ofthe fixture, using a Hilti 2 lb. hammer.

4. Tighten to the recommended torquevalue with a torque wrench, or iftorque wrench is not available, 2 or 3turns from the finger tight position toachieve proper anchor setting.

1. Hammer drill a hole the same nominaldiameter as the Hilti Kwik Bolt II withor without the fixture in place. Cleanhole with a blow out pump or compressed air.

2. Put protective sleeve and tamperproof nut on Kwik Bolt II so impactsection (dog point) is exposed. Driveanchor far enough into the hole sothat at least six threads are below thetop surface of the fixture.

3. Tighten the torque head with ordinarywrench until nut breaks away, leavingonly the free spinning sleeve and tam-per proof fastener.

4. Free turning protective sleeve andtamper proof fastener remain.
