Discuss with him/her what she is keen to pursue – no fixed path nor
is any path correct/wrong or better/worse.
What does it mean for your child when it comes to deciding what to
do after Sec 4/5 and beyond?
Consider your child’s learning style: is he/she comfortable in an intensive academic programme or is he/she
better off learning through a hands-on programme.
Give him/her options – if plan A does not work out, to
consider B, C, D…
Think and discuss what will enable and empower him/her to be the best
person he/she can be.
