Background:Integrating training across major domains and fields of medicine is important. Principles of behavioral health and psychiatry are especially applicable across disciplines.

Collaboration: Medical educators from Rush and University of Iowa

Intervention:Integrate psychiatric concepts into the general M-3 curriculum with monthly emails targeted to each rotation. .

Email Content: Identification of and screening for psychiatric issues frequently encountered on each clerkship.

Email Format: Consistent bulleted presentation of key points Formatted to handheld devices Followed by a multiple choice question Linked to the correct response and a reference.

What have I learned?
