WOW … There’s a lot going on!

We’re back … with a spring in our step and looking forward to a new season of great music at Cambridge Modern Jazz @ Hidden Rooms. After a strong Autumn/Winter season and a hugely successful revived Cambridge Jazz Festival we’re delighted to unveil our Spring/Summer programme. We’ll be welcoming national and international stars and a host of talented jazz musicians that make the Cambridge scene one of the liveliest in the UK. Our brand new piano will be officially launched this season, by a player with strong roots in the city and we will be linking with the ACE Foundation to present our first ever event at the stunning Stapleford Granary arts hub. Looking further ahead, plans are already well advanced for Cambridge Jazz Festival 2016. Running from November 17 to 27 it will present an eclectic mix of big scale events and more intimate gigs, workshops and talks at venues all over the city. Check our website and emails for more details to come. We’re pleased to be launching another season based at Hid-den Rooms, our very supportive hosts for nearly six years. It’s the perfect venue for jazz and has helped us build a reputa-tion as one of the favourite small clubs on the scene where artists love playing. Cambridge Modern Jazz is run entirely by volunteers. We thrive on our wits with a superb music booking policy, a dedicated front of house team who add that special sparkle to all our events and our audiences who make every jazz night one to remember.
