Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II) and parents Emilia and Karol Sr.
Lastly, Today, May 18 th is the 100th birthday of Karol Wojtyla – St. Pope JohnPaul II. He was a monumental figure in the church and the world. There aremany movies about him, but my favorite is “Karol: A Man who Became Pope”.It’s a 2-part movie, the first starts as World War II begins and ends when he iselected Pope in !978. It’s a well-acted and beautifully filmed account of hisfriendships, faith, and living under the Nazis and Communists. I recommend itto everyone, but particularly to high school and college students (and perhaps20 and 30 somethings.). It can be found in Netflix and on YouTube. I stronglyencourage you to take a look. The bullet section below has the YouTube link.
Much Health and Many Blessings,
Monsignor Royal
