Jacob Santellana was selected as our EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH for April! He has been a

member of the food service staff since February 2020 and says his fa-

vorite part of his job is helping wherever he is needed.

Jacob grew up in Indianapolis and is a graduate of Southport High

School. When he isn’t working, he enjoys being at home watching

The Office. He also enjoys hiking, biking, fishing and being outdoors.

Fun Fact: Jacob is an amazing artist.

If you would like the opportunity to video chat with

your loved ones, we can arrange that! There are

many apps available that allow for this type of com-

munication.

Simply contact Jenni in the Activities Department at

317-535-0422 or [email protected], and

she will assist in making that happen!

First, I want to thank residents, families, and staff for all of their patience and sacrifice over these many weeks. Our team is working hard in conjunction with state and local agencies7946 to prepare a phased approach to reopening. These are the tentative plans as we prepare for a very calculated, gradual journey back to “normal”. Dates TBD Phase 1: • Two assigned meal sessions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with 2 people per table. Disin-fection of dining area between meal sessions.

Small groups for activities on residents’ floor sunroom, with masks. Phase 2:

Transportation will resume with social distancing and disinfection protocols in place. Phase 3: • Entertainers back in building

Activities in Activity Room I will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

We are proud to partner with Viking Pure Solu-tions. Viking Pure’s cleaning technology uses elec-trolyzed water to kill bacteria, fungus, and viruses, including COVID-19. It also prevents micro-organisms from creating a resistance to any of its disinfectants. Check out the videos our staff made to promote Viking Pure! https://youtu.be/WW-9QNyODuE https://youtu.be/TJ5MIOH-i0g

Hearth Hug

Hearth Hugs are meant to promote staff recognition.

Did someone go out of their way to help you? Do you see

how hard an employee is working day in and day out? Recognize them

with a Hearth Hug! You can pick up and turn in this form at the front desk or Activities Room.
