She also previously served as Director of School Support for The Achievement Networ k, where she coached and developed school leadership teams to embed performance management strategies into their schools’ everyday routines and ultimately raise student academic achievement. For Chicago Public Schools, Ms. Heineke served as Academic Initiatives Manager and, prior to that, 6th- 8th Grade Content Lead in the district’s Ofce of Teaching and Learning. PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES In her career, Ms. Heineke has been active in professional organizations. She is currently a member of the Illinois Reading Council, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the International Reading Association.
