Our Story

We Kaftan.™

We believe kaftan is a verb, or should be.

We love to float around the pool, on the beach and around the house for that matter in soft, flowy, low maintenance kaftans. We love pieces that feel special because of limited production and high quality craftsmanship. We love to buy American made so we married the three together to launch KENNA + MAXI. Premium Resort wear hand-crafted in Los Angeles.

KENNA + MAXI is a luxury resort brand of kaftans and cover-ups defined by quality fabrics, fine craftsmanship and are all hand made in Los Angeles. K+M embodies the spirit of the modern woman who desires to feel sexy, luxurious, comfortable and timeless.

K+M, was started by a finance professional and mom because she could not find beach cover-ups, casual dresses or lounge-wear that was high quality, designed to slim and flatter, and made from flowy fabrics at a reasonable price point. She started designing her first collection, named after her children, focusing on resort wear and casual dresses in the Winter of 2013 and will continue to expand her made in Los Angeles brand to include other wardrobe essentials.

K +M's focus on small production (between 1 and a few dozen of each print) of hand selected fabrics, flattering cuts and quality craftsmanship will make each piece a lasting staple in a woman's closet.

Dear Resort Wear Buyer,

This line sheet will introduce you to our styles as well as our esthetic, but if you choose to kaftan with K+M we will customize a look book for your resort or specialty boutique with unique fabrics.

We can even create subtle souvenirs for your guests by adding an exclusive label to the kaftans you select.

Our goal with sizing is to allow your customers to wear right off the rack—even floor length ka9ans.

PeFte Small -‐ fits Women's sizes 2-‐6 – 5”7 and under PeFte Medium -‐ fits Women's sizes 6-‐10 -‐ 5”7 and under PeFte Large -‐ fits Women's sizes 10-‐14 -‐ 5”7 and under XL -‐ fits Women's sizes 14-‐18 -‐ 5”7 and under

PeFte sizes can also be worn as a 3/4 length dress on a taller woman. See model picture on next page for an example. Models are 5'8"
