The site has over 900,000 articles indexed, with digital images available for many of the older newspapers, such as The Covington Journal, Ticket, and the Daily Commonwealth. The Kenton County Public Library is the

tion. Housed in Covington at the Mary

Ann Mongan Library, the Kentucky

History and Genealogy Department

offers more than 20,000 volumes of

historical facts and 8,000 reels of

microfilm. Additionally the department

offers various online databases so

researchers can access information from

anywhere in the world through the

Library’s website,

The Library’s collection, books and

documents, includes photographs,

family files, maps,

microforms, and art

work. There are ex-

tensive resources

regarding Civil War

veterans, cemetery

and church records

and Census data.
