After breakfast, proceed to Munnar (140 kilometres/4 hours). Munnar, one of the most famous hill station situated onthe Western Ghats is at a height of 1600 meters above the sea level. It is essentially a Tea Town miles of unending teaplantation can be seen here. En route, visit Cheyyappara and Valara Waterfalls and Tea Plantation On arrival atMunnar transfer to Hotel. After breakfast, go for sightseeing to Mattupetty Dam. Eco Point, Pothamedu View Point--provides a panoramicview of Munnar, adjoining valleys and Muthirapuzha River. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady, which is also known as Periyar (110 kilometres/3.30hours).Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. On arrival check into the Hotel. Afternoon proceed for a cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety ofwildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc evening you can take a Elephant ride at Periyar wild lifeand rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: Munnar

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast checkout from hotel, depart for Allepey (150 km / 4 hrs) the Backwater destination ofKerala. Check in to the houseboat. Relax and Enjoy in calm water and sights of coconut trees adjoiningbackwater is mesmerizing. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

On arrival at Veer Savarkar Airport transfer you to your hotel. Post Lunch, relax for a while. Later visit famousCellular Jail- Better known as Kalapani was built by Britishers in the year 1905 to imprison Indian freedom fighter.Evening Light and Sound Show at Cellular jail. The Cellular Jail has a pride of place in Indias freedom struggle.Many a stalwart were imprisoned here and this place is declared as a national memorial, this three storey prisonconstructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutelywitnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. Theday draws to a gentle close with The Light and Sound Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vividexperience of its strong association with the freedom fighter and their struggle for independence.
