Key Stage 4 Paper 1: Comparing Presentational Devices

Now look at the following answer, supplied by a candidate.

The wikepeida advert has a white background. This is boring and this means that this page is just for info. But there is blue words for some of the main words. The page is busy with lots of writting. There is columns down the left and there are subheadings with bullet points underneath and on the right there is some graphs showing you the effects of global worming.

The global worming page has a personfryed picture of an earth. It is smilling which means that it is happy. It is colourful so we look at this because the background is white. The background we can see the sun shinning and the pictures on the right are like the writing on the left and lines are used to show this. There some subheadings but these used big like words like words “neautralise” and this is hard for people like me to read, so it is not for teenagers. The hypalinks are well explained.

In your groups recap the improvement strategies, without looking at anyone’s work.

Now swap your work with a partner and provide some comments that you think will help to improve the quality of their response.
