Keyframing rotation in the Canvas Panel

• Two clips in the timeline, with wireframing turned on

• Select the Bart layer

• Move playhead to start of movie and add a keyframe• We are content to use default orientation in this keyframe, so no further operation is needed here

• Move playhead to 4 seconds

• Add keyframe• We want a different orientation here, so ...

• ... we hold the cursor over any green line in the wireframe and ...• ... the cursor changes shape, indicating it can be used for rotation

• We drag the cursor to achieve the orientation we want at 4 seconds• And then we release the cursor

Seeing the effect of what we have done

• Although the sequence was exported as a .mov file, the file has been recoded to a .flv file to make it more practical for use on the web
