We offer both scheduled and charter services internationally and within Canada. We are a Transport Canada certified commercial carrier with the capacity to carry anything from 15,000 to 150,000 lbs of freight on a flight, day or night, scheduled or ad hoc.

For over 30 years we supported Purolator Courier and Canada Post operating a national fleet of 19 aircraft coast to coast on daily service.

Whether its a start up that requires wet leasing, or an existing carrier that simply needs dry lease support, we will work with you to identify the solution that supports your business needs.

Our customized aircraft leasing solutions include Passenger, Freighter or Combi configurations and specialized applications such as fire tankers, V.I.P. and executive.

We specialize in Boeing and Convair.

Our experience in heavy maintenance, overhaul and modifications attracts customers from around the world to our bases in Kelowna, BC and Hamilton, ON. We have the capability to tackle large, complex projects that require engineering, manufacturing and installation.

With over 250,000 sq. ft. of hangar space and 400 engineers, AMEs and technicians, we can accommodate wide and narrow body aircraft. We are a centre of excellence for 737 Classic and NG fleets.

MAINTENANCE & MODIFICATION

Our full service Aircraft Maintenance Operations (AMO) focus on heavy aircraft maintenance, overhaul and modifications. This includes avionics upgrades, major structural repairs, winglet installations, auxiliary tank installations, cargo conversions and full LOPA/Interior changes.

ENGINEERING SERVICES

With over 25 years of engineering design and certification experience, we are your one-stop-shop for repairs and modifications across all aircraft types. As a Transport Canada Design Approval Organization and a DND Recognized Design Approval Organization, we have the expertise to provide full project management, design analysis, certification, damage tolerance analysis, technical publications, and AOG support.

Our capabilities include upgrading older aircraft cockpits with modern, state-of-the-art avionics systems, interior modifications and structural modifications. We also have extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities that allow us to fabricate modification kits, including wiring harnesses, structural fabrication (forming/machining), heat treating, welding, plating, and composite fabrication.

SHOPS & MANUFACTURING

KF Aerospace’s Shops & Manufacturing team is focused on assisting with managing your landing gear or component assets and maintenance requirements. Our team of highly trained and certified technicians will provide total support to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction. Our mission is to be successful by effectively utilizing the philosophies of high quality, advanced techniques, and continuous improvement in order to provide superior products and customer service to clients requiring Shops & Manufacturing services.

PLATING SHOPOur internal repair shop capabilities include the latest plating technologies, including; hard chrome, dull and bright cadmium plate, alodine and nickel plating.

MACHINE SHOPWe specialize in precision CNC machining for repair, fabrication, kit building and rapid prototyping.

COMPONENT SHOP CAPABILITIES KF Aerospace has overhaul and repair capabilities on a variety of actuators, accumulators, reservoirs, pressure relief and steering control valves for various aircraft.

MANUFACTURINGA recognized parts manufacturer under OEM authority with capability to produce parts for out-of-production aircraft.

NDT SERVICESNon-destructive testing available including MPI, LPI, Radiography, Ultrasound and Eddie Current (on site or field).

CONVAIR SUPPORT

We have been operating, maintaining, and modifying Convair aircraft for 36 years. We are the type certificate holder for the Convair 240/340/440 and its derivatives (5800/580/640/600), and we carry the largest inventory of Convair parts in the world.

As the design authority we provide a range of services for Convair operators including 24/7 parts and technical support, engineering services, significant modifications, and we have the ability to manufacture parts on-site.

Our modifications experience for the Convair aircraft includes the following:

We are a proud supporter of military aviation programs in Canada. Our ability to approach large, complex challenges

with creativity and flexibility has allowed us to develop highly successful public/private partnerships over the years.

TRAININGWe train 80% of Canadian Air Force pilots, and operate from our facility in Portage La Prairie, MB. This fully integrated, turnkey training solution includes all aspects of training, aircraft maintenance, and facilities management for Multi -Engine and Rotary Wing. We have a long history of supporting military aviation programs in Canada including everything from heavy maintenance and upgrades to the Cosmo CC109 to extended lifecycle support for the DHC 5 Buffalo and DHC 6 Twin Otter.

Our team at KF Defence Programs oversees all aspects of training including ground school, flight training devices, flight instruction, air traffic control, airfield maintenance, accommodation and meals, and aircraft maintenance. Four aircraft fleets are supported: the Grob 120 for primary and basic flight training, the Beechcraft C-90B for multi-engine training, the Bell 206 for initial rotary wing training and the Bell 412 for advanced training.
