Dear Parents,

This is a package of work to help your child practice the skills they learned in KG, and the ones they will need for Grade 1.

The most important thing to remember is to have FUN with English. Play sight word games, use hands-on activities and do only 10-15 minutes of practice at a time.

The activities in this package are to be used as a guide. They are there to show you the skills and areas that need to be covered. Please feel free to make up your own games and activities as well, there are many different ways to practice English.

Sight Words Your child should be able to read all 50 sight words, and

should be working on spelling them correctly too.
