Practicing Addition

Introduction: This tutorial gives kindergarten and first grade students practice in number recognition and in adding two numbers together. This tutorial is written for The Learning Company software, Beginning Math – Super Star Games.

Step 1: put in disk

· Type your name or

· Left click on name

Step 2: Left click on #6

Step 3: Left click on Adding Frog Adventure

Step 4: Left click on SPIN

· Frog hops number of spaces

Step 5: Count balls and

· Left click on the number of balls

Step 6: See if you got it right

Step 7: Left click SPIN

· Frog hops 4 spaces

Step 8: Count balls and

· left click on the number of balls

Step 9: See if you got it right

Step 10: Left click SPIN

· Frog hops 3 spaces

Step 11: Add the balls

· Left click on the total number of balls

Step 12: Play until frog goes into cave

Step 13: Good Job!

You got a silver star!

· Left click EXIT if done

· Left click RESET to Play again

· Left click MENU to play another game
