Outreach Coordinator (2012-13, 2013-14) Volunteered bi-annually for a weekend at Camp Many Voices at Easter Seals Camp Bragg Creek,
involved Speech Pathology students, trained and supervised the students assisting at the camp (2005, 2007, and 2009)
Volunteered in the Activities Department at a care home for senior citizens. The Waters, Buffalo, NY (03/03 - 11/05).
Scheduled, organized, and supervised a group of adults with developmental disabilities go on community excursions. YMCA, Atlanta, GA (05/99 - 08/02, Treasurer 2001-2002).
Hogar Clinica, San Juan de Dios, Cusco, Peru. Introduced assistive communication devices for children with physical disabilities and communication disorders at a rehabilitation clinic (10/01).
Hogar Clinica, Santiago, Chile. Counselor at a weekend camp for young adults with disabilities (02/00).
Supervised a group of adults with developmental disabilities go on community excursions. St. Mary’s Church, Augusta, GA (09/97- 09/98).
Performed personal care attendant duties for a man with a C5 spinal cord injury while he took a vacation at a rustic cabin in Northern British Columbia (08/95).
MicroComputer Centre, University of Dundee, Scotland. Developed a software module for an augmentative communication program called Talk Assist (10/93 - 11/93)

Set up all equipment and assisted during laboratory sessions for a course in Augmentative Communication at the University of Alberta (06/93).
Assisted several persons with physical disabilities who were patients of the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital set up and use their computers (1989-1990).
