COURSEOBJECTIVES:Atthecompletionofthiscoursethestudentwillbeableto:1. Describethescientificmethodandhowitrelatestothestudyofexercisephysiology.2. Describehowthebodyfunctionsduringexercise.
3. Describeandexplainhowacuteandchronicexercisealtersphysiology. 4. Explainandperformthetests,whichbestmeasure,thesephysiologicalchanges.TEACHINGMETHODOLOGY Thiscoursewillconsistofone,three-hourlaboratorysessionperweek.Arelativelybrief(20-30minutes)introductionwillprefaceeachlaboratorysession.Itisimperativethatthestudentcomestoclasshavingreadtheappropriatepagesinthelabmanual.Studentswillthengetintoappropriate-sizedgroupsandperformthelaboratoryexperiment.Theinstructorwillalwaysbeavailabletoassist.COURSEREQUIREMENTS
1. Studentsshouldattend(pleasebeontimeasIlockthelabdoorsatthestartofclassandIdonotopenthemuntilclassisfinished)andparticipateinallclasses.Nomakeuplaboratorieswillbegiven.
