From the Principal

Camp Coonawarra I was lucky enough to be able to visit our intrepid Grade 6

campers for a couple of days this week and they were

definitely having a great time. Camp is always a rollercoaster

of excitement, challenges, teamwork, exhaustion, a few

bumps and bruises, laughter, friendship, getting along, a few

tears, smelly cabins (routinely inspected), games and

prizes… which typically is all summed up by just one

word….. Camp was “fun”!

Special thanks to our great team of staff that have taken time

away from their families to give our students the opportunity

to experience our camping program.

Footy Colours Day

Our grade 5 students have really stepped-up to demonstrate

their growing leadership skills recently and today’s Footy

Colours Day was another great success for the team.

Congratulations! With many winter sports seasons coming to an end we’ve had several of our Kent Park students receiving awards in a wide

range of sporting fields. Make sure you send in any photo’s you may have and we will always try to include them in our

FANTASTIC STUDENT (Current and Past!) ACHIEVEMENTS!

Jackson Edwards and Yonal Gunawardena E.F.L. Best and Fairest Awards

“On Monday the 9th of September I went to the EFL (Eastern Football League) BNF (Best And Fairest). It is when the top 5

players are invited to a night where you get awards. The top 3 got awards; 1st got a medal, 2nd got a trophy and 3rd got a

trophy. They got us all on the stage and declared the winner. I luckily came first with 17 votes. Also Yonal from 6K came
