(The tour followed in the footsteps of the soldiers of the First Contingent of the Canadian Expeditionary Force after they arrived in Plymouth, England in 1914. Highlights of the tour were singing in Exeter and Canterbury Cathedrals, at the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium, at the Vimy Monument in France, Canada House in London, and at many of the cemeteries where Canadian soldiers of WWI are buried. The choir was very well received at all of the 19 venues they sang at, and felt very proud to be Canadians. It was an incredibly emotional journey, filled with one “high” after another – an experience of a lifetime.)
