Our Kini Young Talent Holiday Camp is an intensive two-week programme for the intellectually curious and motivated high school leaver who wants to develop his or her creative and critical thinking abilities in an actual media organisation setting. Our unique learning environment will take you through interactive workshops, hands-on training and on-the-job assignments to make you work-ready. You will shadow our reporters on the ground, stand behind the camera, speak on current affairs and edit your favourite stories, all while cultivating your leadership and communication skills. Our goal is to ensure that you leave with a holistic view of the working world with a strong personal brand of yourself. How Long Is It? Michael ChenCreative Director, Malaysiakini

Michael recently joined Malaysiakini as Creative Director to create branded content for new and existing clients. Before this, he spent five years in Nuffnang, where he started a branded video content production called RTV Malaysia.

Daniel AnthonyBroadcast Journalist, KiniTV

A journalist and newscaster, Daniel began his career with KiniTV as an intern in 2013. Starting his journey as a video editor, he found a place in the newsroom digging beneath the surface of what seems like a simple story.

You will be trained and mentored by Malaysiakini’s finest trainers, award-winning journalists and editors,

as well as, diversely experienced management coaches.
