Kissin Cousins Stallion Management LLC Kissin The Girls INTERNATIONAL FROZEN SEMEN CONTRACT This agreement, made on the date shown below, by and between John Carpenter d/b/a Kissin Cousins Stallion Management LLC and the undersigned owner or lessee of the Mare named below for the 2020 breeding season. • SERVICE : Mare owner engages one service of frozen semen of Kissin The Girls, AQHA # 5350202 for the following mare for the 2020 breeding season. MARE NAME:____________________________________ REGISTRATION NUMBER:__________________________ BREED:____________________________ • BREEDING FEES : The breeding fee shall be 1200 euros. A booking fee of 500 euros is due with the signed contract. The balance of the stud fee is due before shipment of semen. The breeding will be by means of frozen semen stored and shipped in Europe. Upon payment in full, 2 doses of frozen semen will be provided. For these purposes, a dose is defined as 4 straws. Transportation fees from the storage facility is the mare owner's responsibility. For embryo transfer mares, should more than one embryo result from breeding, mare owner must immediately report the additional embryo and pay an additional stud fee upon heartbeat check. Frozen semen shall only be used for the mare that is listed on the contract. Any unused frozen semen is the property of Kissin Cousins Stallion Management LLC. • BREEDING SEASON : The breeding season shall begin February 1st and close August 31st of the year of this agreement. • MARE REGISTRATION : A copy of the mare’s registration papers will be required along with a signed contract . and comply with all breed registry requirements. Mare owner agrees to use all the semen provided by this agreement solely to breed the mare named in the agreement.
• LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE : The mare owner is guaranteed a live foal. A live foal means one that stand and nurses for 24 hours. If the mare proves barren, aborts her foal or the foal is stillborn, a rebreed for the subsequent year only will be provided for no additional stud fee. However, a 250 euro rebreed fee will apply. Written notice must be provided to the stallion owner or David Maisonnette that the mare has slipped or that the foal does not stand and nurse for 24 hours, along with a veterinarian report.
• WARRANTIES : No warranties, express or implied, shall accompany the breeding right created by this agreement nor the semen delivered under the agreement.
• This agreement may neither be transferred nor assigned in any manner, absent the express written permission of stallion owner, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties, it supersedes all other written agreements for Kissin The Girls, it shall be interpreted in accordance with the state laws of Alabama and all actions concerning this agreement shall be instituted in the Circuit Court of Chilton County, Alabama.
• BINDING :This agreement is binding when mare owner has paid the booking fee and sent to the stallion owner a signed copy of this agreement together with a copy of the mare’s certificate of registration to stallion owner or David Maisonnette.
• SUBSTITUTION: In the event the mare dies during the breeding season, the mare owner may substitute another mare.
• INSEMINATION REPORT : Mare owner must submit a Breeding Report before September 1st of the Breeding Season listing each insemination date, pregnancy status and straws used or there may be penalties to list the mare on the breeding report.
