In the story To Build A Fire, the protagonist was not prepared for the journey ahead of him. He was in freezing cold artic weather without the

proper equipment. On his trip his feet became increasingly numb and ached because his feet were not insulated and wet. His friends advised him to wear a mask on his face and he ignored them. If he would have worn a mask his nose would not have gone numb during his trek. He

also constantly complained about his hands being cold and numb, this later prevented him from being able to build a fire. He could have
