The KKMO is an annual secondary school mathematics contest organized with the aim of selecting Kenya’s teams for the International Mathematical Olympiad and the Pan African Mathematical Olympiad. What is KKMO? Who can Participate? Every school with eligible students can participate. The Competition has both Junior and Senior divisions. Why Participate? • Students have access to cash prizes as well as participation certificates, medals and trophies. • Winners have the opportunity to participate in international competition and represent their school and country. • Students who have participated in previous competitions have gone on to have hugely successful careers, some having received offers from prestigious universities. • Encourage and developing a love of maths in students. • Schools are supported with bi-weekly Mathematical papers designed to improve student’s math skills. • Participating Schools with Students who reach the top levels of the competition will win cash prizes for their mathematical departments as well as participation certificates and medals.
