Brother Knights and Ladies, Our Council has made a lot of progress this year and are well on the way to making Star Council. We have been trying to restructure many things and re-build our relationships with the parishes, communities, and brother Knights. I am proud to say that we are moving forward and improving. I hope that this momentum continues for many future Grand Knights’ terms. We have to start attracting new members who will step up and take on leadership positions in the Council. With Easter fast approaching, we now have an opportunity to attract new converts who may be looking to become involved in their parishes. Go chat with them about the Knights of Columbus and the many activities that we are involved in. With everyone’s help, we can make our Council THE Council to join. Happy Easter to all!

Grand Knight’s Report - William Keenan
Have You Insured Your Most Valuable Asset?
Is your income protected if you become sick or injured and cannot work? Your ability to work and earn an income is your most valuable asset. Yet a disability could prevent you from earning that income. Just one year of a disa-bility could eliminate your savings.
Income Armor, an individual disability income insurance product from the Knights of Columbus, should be a key part of your overall financial plan and family’s protection.
If you are ill or injured, Income Armor provides tax-free monthly benefits to help you meet living expenses and maintain you and your family’s standard of living. Your monthly benefits help you pay your mortgage and other monthly bills, while your savings and retirement assets remain intact.
In short, if you have a job and don’t have a way to protect that paycheck, you should seriously consider Income Armor today. I look forward to meeting with you.

We are in need of a Program Director for the remainder of this term. Also, if you would be interested in becoming the Program Director for next term starting July 1st, please let our Retention Chairman know. I would like to focus our efforts the Youth category. St. Ursula School is very welcoming to the Knights. I’m asking that you think about what school event you or your child/grandchild always looked forward to as an elementary/middle schooler. I would like to get some ideas together and see if we can’t organize a few of these events for the school. Please submit your thoughts/ideas to the Grand Knight at [email protected] or call 410-668-5347.

Retention Chairman’s Report PGK Michael Colbourne (443-876-2828)
Please consider the following: It’s better to give than to receive!!! There’s plenty of tasks to take on. Please consider taking on one task per quarter. When dealing with the Youth, need to be certified for “Shield the Vulnerable”; this is non-negotiable!!! What are my God-given talents I have to help my Council Church (Parish), Community and Family? What can the Council do for me to be a better man (husband, father, friend), Knight and Catholic? For a new Knight, we need to find you a mentor(s) to learn from For veteran\experienced Knights, consider being a mentor to teach the Knights who want to learn Enable to engage with others and be engaged by others
