The HotelThe hotel comprises the long leasehold interest in four intercommunicating red
brick terraced buildings dating from 1880.
The accommodation is laid out over lower ground, raised ground and five upper
floors. All floors, with the exception of the fifth, are serviced by two 4 person
(320kg) and one 6 person (500kg) Schindler passenger lifts and 3 internal
staircases.
The total gross internal area (includes internal structure but not outside walls) of
the property is approximately 2,259 sq m (24,279 sq ft).
The Franklin Hotel opened in September 1992, within 3 buildings, 24, 26 and 28
Egerton Gardens, London SW3. Internally the buildings were taken back to the
external walls and fully redesigned to include new services, 35 fully air-conditioned
guest-rooms and suites, common areas and back of house space. Number 22
Egerton Gardens was subsequently acquired in 1996 refurbished and incorporated
into the hotel to provide 47 guest-rooms and suites in total. The property is now
subject to a continual programme of repair and renewal which ensures the current
private owners exacting standards are maintained.
The hotel website can be seen at www.franklinhotel.co.uk.
The AccommodationThe floor plans and photography within these sale particulars best illustrate the
